Eleaf I stick too hot message

hey everyone wondering if you could help me, i have an eleaf istick 20 watt mod with a nautilis aspire mini and everytime i go to fire it a message saying "Too hot!" comes up. the actual atomiser or the mod is not hot at all so i dont really know where to go from here.

I think it's a known fault that plagues some of those old 20W iSticks.

Has it always done this, or just recently?

If it's still under warranty, you might want to take it back to where you purchased it from.

Could be the internal battery has a fault, or could be the board gone bad. They're disposable....toss it.

If you have other tanks, give that a try.

I know that some coils can have a short that will cause issues and trigger that warning.

And even if the tank might not seen that hot, it might transfer the heat downwards via the connector and cause the sensor to trigger.

I'm no fan of the nautilus and I can't remember if this was the issue (but I do remember the device too hot message on my iStick 30). The problem was the tank as described here.

I have a 20w istick I use everyday with my mini's since Nov. last year and never had that message come up.

I would try and see if you can have it replaced.

Welcome and glad you joined. Could try another atomizer with the Istick.
