hey there everyone I wanted to ask this question I have been using my ikonn 220 and really love it but I charge it every night before I go to sleep and then the next day use it all day and do the same thing but the guy told me to take the batteries out and switch around and put back in and then charge it. And he said it’s fine to charge it over night. And tonight I noticed when I moved it. It was like Luke warm. Not hot or anything just warm. And I wanted to ask you guys if that’s normal for it to be warm because I know in the morning when I get up it’s not warm at all. I appreciate everyone’s help. And still vaping and have not touched cigarettes for 3 weeks now..

It is not really a good idea to charge 18650 batteries in a mod...Better to use a standalone charger.

Looks like that mod charges them at 2A....the batteries will have a longer life and stay cooler if charged at 1A. It will take longer to charge but be better for the batteries

It is good to have a second set to rotate thru as the batteries can rest that way, it will help prolong their life as well.

Batteries may get warm while charging as long as not hot it should be safe. The higher the charge amp the warmer they are likely to get.

I usually let the batteries rest for 6 to 8 hours after using them before charging and let them rest 6 - 8 hours after charging before using them again.

Good choice on the external charger, both for ease of use (especially if you can swap out batteries) and battery life. I almost never charge via USB (except my Radius, which is designed for that) or with an internal battery mod. I find it so much more convenient to have batteries ready whenever I need them. A little warmth may be normal for charging via USB (it seems to be) compared to charging on an external battery where they don't heat up at all, seemingly.

Good luck moving forward. :)

if you're charging overnight, get a a good brand charging brick, but stay with a 1A model... I know that most company hype the quick charging at 2A, but it's better for the batteries to be charged slowly. A bit warm is absolutely normal, cell phones and anything else that you charge will warm up when charging, and the faster it charges, the hotter it'll get.
