I'm happy to report I haven't had any problems with any of the 10-50 watts iSticks.

Bought another temperature control mod, prolly arrive Monday....kinda losing interest in the sticks lately.

I'm kind of favoring my gifted Vapor Shark over the 50 myself. In fact it has become my favorite. Temp control is the way to go. :)

None that I've noticed. What I've thought might be a feature may in fact be a default with the atty...though the clicking is clearly from the mod. The EK Mini has a slight bit of play in the center pin / deck assembly. It seems to fire okay and produces well.

I think your correct. Its the Atty. The Istick is sampling the resistance and it clicks when it loses the atomizer. May do this with shorts too.

I just replicated it... If you screw the Atty from contact to no contact and back again you can hear a click. Which I assume is from the switch that prevents firing.

Did someone said SX Mini M?

Well I bought a istick 50w for a friend..it came in today. He was using the old ego. After a few times trying it. I'm gonna get one for myself tomorrow for my take out device.

I've found that if I screw the EK Mini down very, very tight (way beyond firm), there is no ticking. I assume this counters the play in the connector / deck assembly.

just got a replacement from ismoka for the thrid of my dead or dying istiks. The replacement they sent me is built differently. ISmoka called me to find out what types of problems I have had. The replacement is much tighter. All of the buttons have a very firm feel, there is no rattle, and most important the firing button works, and works very will.

2nd or 3rd batch I am not sure, but either way if what they sent is representative of what they are building now, then this is a very nice affordable mod.

Sorry it happened in the first place, but glad they took care of you.
Gives us all peace of mind.:)

Have had mine for a week now, and really impressed. The battery lasts me 2 full days with a dual 26g .6ohm build in my marquis at 40watts.
In my big hands I'm stealth vaping, but it is very comfortable. The fire button has a really nice feel to it whither I use my thumb or finger.
Picked it up when my t6 died, was a little skeptical it looks kind of fragile, but it is actually a very sturdy piece of hardware.
I haven't found any cons other than my marquis sits with the air holes towards the screen, so if I over juice and tilt that way, makes me concerned
I might get juice in the electronics. But, if I did and ruined it I would buy another one. (Another con? The ohms only read in tenths, got spoiled with
my t6 which reads 100ths and was spot on. But I guess if I really want to know I can get out the multimeter. )

If your looking for a 30 to 50 watt regulated device, I highly recommend it.
