eleaf istick melo 3 flavourless

Hi all,

I'm currently using the istick Pico with melo 3 tank. I love this little mod and tank combo but I'm finding the tank to mute flavours. I notice that if I unscrew the top slightly whilst vaping the flavour is much improved. With it screwed up so that it doesn't leak the flavour disappears. I can only assume that this is just a design fault of the melo 3.
Has anyone else experienced this and can anyone recommend a tank without this issue that will fit thismod?

I have to agree with you on this. While I was re-wicking my Griffin on Sunday, I tossed the Melo on and noticed a big difference in flavor. I was happy to get the Griffin back on my Pico.

The coils have a everything to do with the flavor. There are several different coils that fit your tank along with various ohm/wire choices as well. namely: Eleaf Melo 1, 2, 3, & ijust. Aspire Atlantis. Vapresso cCell. I have a Melo 2 and use the cCell .9 kanthal coils. This is a ceramic coil. The flavor and vapor on the cCell coil is great! Give that a try.

I thought the problem was tank design due to reading a lot of people suffering the same problem and constantly experimenting with different coils with no improvement. Also the fact the flavour is improved by getting more air through the tank by loosening the top off.

Good to know. I also just noticed that there are new ceramic coils available for the MELO III so I'm going to give those a try too.
