Eleaf ti coil

My eleaf ti 0,5ohm coil tastes like weared socks, I almost barfed, tried 3 different liquids, flavour was still socks, it is a brand new coil, vaped it on 500F, dropped some juice on it before putting it in melo 2, let it sit all night. Bad coil or I did something wrong?

Possibly the cotton just taking some time to break in, or possibly a bad coil.

I have had the sock taste a few times on my rda. I always just power through it and the full flavor of the juice seems to come through in 10 or so draws. Those first 10-15 puffs suck, though.

I wick rayon, and it has a break in period...

I can think of 4 things this could be.

1. It's just the wick/coil break in taste. If so it shall pass. Try mouth puffing it, no inhales till it gets better.

2. Some coils come with factory GUNK on them, If so it shall pass. Try mouth puffing it, no inhales till it gets better.

3. The wick got very burnt, it shall not pass.

4. You are vaping sock flavored juice. Give Dobby back his bottle of juice!

Could also be something foul in the tank or drip tip. Give the entire tank a good cleaning.

Thank you all for answers. It is not tank or juice, since on ni it vapes like a charm. I'll try letting the taste pass somehow.

Just tried power puffing without inhaling and it worked, socks are fading now. Just a Quick question, on what temperature is best to vape 0.5ohm titan coil? It seems that it's very hard for coil to get to 500F.

All the cotton I have tried has a funky taste at first.
KGD, Organic cotton balls and Sally Salon Coil Cotton, which I currently use.
Some cotton may have more of this 'break in flavor' than others, I dunno.
