Since I am able to see what I am putting up there..... what are others seeing and what do I do to make it right?

I see the black X.

When you find an emoticon that you like from sherv.net, you can use google>images>search for image (camera icon), put in url from sherv.net, and find similar images from other sites.

Good. I'm still seeing black boxes - it may be IE11, although for me, I've never been able to link from the sherv site directly.

Using IE11 here. I don't have any blockers running though. I think that may be the issue. Dunno...
