Is it possible to make a passthru that just plugs into an electrical outlet without an adapter? While I live in front of my computer my set up is a little difficult for a standard USB passthru to work for me. I do use a USB extension cord that works alright, I just hate having wires stretching from me to my computer tower. I've tried a USB electrical adapter but even one that was 1000mAh wasn't strong enough to heat the atty.

I plan on starting to paly around with my own mods around the frist of the month and would love to be able to make this myself but I have no idea where to begin on this type of passthru. Any help would be greaty appreciated!

I don't want to use a battery pack or an adapter. I want it to go straight from the ecig to on outlet with a regualr plug in like a lamp. Is it possible or is that to much for the atomizer?

It's not too much if you want to atomize your atomizer and have a shocking experience at the same time. Most E Cig atomizers are in danger of burning out at anything over 6 volts DC,wall power in the US is 110 volts AC BAD things would happen without an adaptor.

Just today I found an almost new 5 volt, 1000 mA that was getting thrown out at work. Well I grabbed it. All wall chargers have the input and output molded or on a stamp on the transformer. Think cell phone charger. Find one and vape away. I hope it charges the batteries as well as run the atomizer. Now I just have to find a way to plug it in to my PV. :D

I appreciate that. That is the info I was looking for, whether it could be done or not. Thanks again!

I picked up a 4.5V 1600mA AC to DC adapter at Radio Shack for about $4.00. Put my own plug and switch on the end.
