Hello,
I ordered 10 eGo-W kits a while ago and gave one to a friend for Christmas. She passed it around the family and figured her tank was empty when it stopped producing vapour later that day. I just took a look at it and it is indeed not hauling. There are no signs of burning and all of the contacts seem to be intact.
What bothers me is the Blackberry e-juice I mixed for her myself, and have had a quantity sitting out for the same length of time, has turned a bright, fluorescent yellow. I know juices containing nicotine tend to darken over time with exposure to UV but since Christmas this has been sitting in its original box, with the W-style sheath on the whole time.
Blackberry flavour from perfumer's apprentice contains ethanol and has a cool, barely perceptible fluorescent blue tinge. Is it possible that a reaction with the materials inside the tank has taken place, or electrolysis due to broken wiring (would explain the lack of draw)?
I've been using Blackberry in my Eliq and regular T type B tanks, as well as handing it out to everyone who buys a kit off of me because it's very tolerant to being under or over mixed and seems to please everyone. The longest I have had a single tank of BB sit without being refilled is about one week though I noticed no discolouration.
At first I thought someone had tried filling the tank with vegetable oil but it smells, tastes and feels the same as my regular blackberry juice.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
EDIT: I should also add that she was using the variable voltage battery mostly in the middle and high settings when it was working.
