Passing on a bit of info I received.

I\m told by the proprietor at my favorite vape shop that any vanilla, mint or custard based liquids will permeate and crank the O rings used in tank systems.
So, if you use any of these liquids, you may want to purchase a spare set of O rings or even a spare tank to use exclusively with these liquids as well as spare coils dedicated to these flavorings.
Just passing along information :)

I have been vaping Creme de Menthe as my primary daily vape for over 6 months with no problem. Candy Cane and Peppermint are also problem free. With vanilla flavoring and the popularity of custards complaints would be rampant if this information were true.

Having an extra set of o-rings is a good idea but not for this reason.

Certain flavors like citrus and cinnamon will crack plastic tanks. I have vaped vanilla and custard on a daily basis for almost 2 years and have yet to replace any o rings. Your b&m guy needs to do his homewotk before offering bum advise. You'll learn more on ecf than you will from a lot of b&m's so be careful with what you're being told.
