A bit of an odd one here, I guess I'm not the only one here with multiple tanks, because hey, who doesn't? My ADV is a Goblin RTA, which works wonderfully, I have an iSub G which I use from time to time, I filled it up with some of my DIY skittles eliquid (vapours-r-us flavouring), and everything is good, I can vape it and it tastes nice, I go about my day, the problem raised when I stopped using it for a day or two, now bear in mind this isn't a very long time, but the juice tasted absolutely foul, a horrible taste that I can't even describe, I cleaned out the tank thoroughly, let it dry, popped a new coil in and filled it up, back to normal everything's good, but whenever I leave this tank for a day again, it tastes horrible! I'm not sure what's causing this as it's very odd, could it have something to do with the flavouring oxidizing? It may sound odd but it's the only thing I can think of, the skittles flavouring from vapours-r-us is very popular so someone would've mentioned it by now.

I'm not too sure what could cause the taste change, someone might have a better answer, but I'll chime in.

I'm thinking it might have to do with the flavoring and changing temperature in the tank from warm when vaping and back to room temperature when idle.

What about inverting the tank a few times to get it mixed up again? Good luck.

I get that too when setting a tank down and coming back another day and it does not taste good......Can't figure it out either......still looking for an answer.....

I'm going to assume that if your juice is heavy on sugars, or other compounds that spoil easily, it's may be a chemical reaction or mixing weird with the oxidation on your coil(s). Keeping fresh juice in the tank isn't allowing it to spoil, but sitting for a period of time might. Just a guess.

What do you mean by inverting the tank?

The juice softening the hardened coil gunk?
so you vape coil gunk?
I stated that this is with brand new coils, how does that work? :?:

It could be that, but it doesn't happen if I vape it, if I vape it regularly then there's no problem, only when I leave it. Maybe the foul taste is the tears of my tank crying when I choose my RTA over it

something in the flavoring or sweetner I suspect. I have an evod I keep filled with unflavored double dose nic for emergency stealth vaping and no problems after being in my kit for weeks.

Perhaps the organic cotton starts to decay?
I use non organic bleached cotton and have no issues even with my other tanks with flavored juice.

So I just fired up my iSub G, and sure enough it still tastes like crap, I noticed as well, the vape I get is a very dull hit, unlike a normal sharp throat hit, hope that's any help
Edit; the juice appears to be very watery, a bit too watery for a 80% VG mix. The coil is also quite loud when firing, a bit too loud.
Hmm that's really weird! Must be some sort of contaminant somewhere in your setup...

I diy but for my birthday I bought 30ml of some store bought, tasted great in store, filled my tank when I got home, it was really liquidy compared to the stuff in store, added about 10ml VG to the bottle it tasted better and wasn't so runny.

Yeah it is quite odd, it's watery to the point that it's flooded the coils, what kind of 80% VG juice floods coils :(
I also forgot to mention that it mustn't be the tank that's doing this, as my buddy who I gave a 30ml bottle of the same juice to from the same batch was having the same problem, but only when he left it for a day. It looks the same as it was before, and it even smells exactly the same! Just when vaped tastes like something my dog just left out the garden!

Hmm, it might just be that particular flavor that feels different when being idle for a while.

Sometimes if I let my RTAs sit for a while the liquid doesn't feel/taste the same right away. If I do let it sit I try to leave it pretty empty.

Someone else pointed out that the mixture might be separating, could be it. Try to mix it around the tank upside down and right side up a few times

It kinda sounds like your juice is separating. Have you tried shaking your tank before vaping after it has set for a while?

Kinda odd that the liquids would separate after a day, considering the fact they were shaken well and there's no visible parts of it unmixed (any DIYers will know what I mean; its clear to see when it's unmixed), I shook it a bit and juice was flying around, literally pouring out of the chamber which is incredibly odd, it's a 80/20 VG/PG mix.

One of my DIY e-liquids (peanut butter crunch) doesn't appear to separate but I have to do the shake on it. I don't know why but it does taste better after I shake it after it has been sitting in the topper (in this case, a mini davide) for a while. None of my other flavors require it.

This sounds like flooding. Check your coil head and tank seals. What you've said sounds like the coil head has flooded and leaked into the air valve. And your shaking it causes the excess juice to come out through the air holes. if flooding is the issue I just blow through the drip tip to clear the flooding.
The only juice I've seen separate had a distinct demarcation line, like you would see in a oil and vinegar salad dressing.
