Biggest tip - go to a local B&M and sample juices at their tasting bar before you buy. Find something you like, buy a small bottle from them (simply out of courtesy for taking their time to help you), then order online if it's cheaper there. If you don't have a local B&M, order small sample size bottles online before you invest in bigger sizes. Oh, and send the juice you don't like to me! I'm always up for trying new flavors.

Touching on what Larry J said (kinda...) speak to fellow vapers in your circles be it friends or family and ask if they have any unwanted juice ( ihave loads i found i didnt like and donated)

also look for monthly subscription boxes, there a little costly but they will send you random flavours every month and that way you may find your ADV (all day vape)

Out of curiosity what kinda flavor are you leaning towards at the moment? you may have a similar taste to me or someone else who could give you some advice!

Unfortunately I don't know any vapors. Either my friends smoke or don't. I've mostly just been going off goggle reviews and now this site(hence the recent nicoticket purchase). I've been considering going to a b&m but have a tendency to get suckered into buying things I don't need from salesmen. I thought I would love dessert flavors but they seemed horrible so far but that could be due to flavor shots. It can get really confusing with sites like vapor fi where you have sooo much customization. I joined vapor fi month club hopefully they will send good things and maybe I need to steep. I wish there was a vaping 101:)

Ill throw my :2c: in with a recommendation of Vampire Vape Heisenberg, Its a fruity aniseedy menthol type taste and it really hits the spot. Everyone ive recommended it to loves it!

Im not sure what availability is like in the US as its a UK manufactured Liquid but if you can get it id recommend :)

As per taste testing, i wish my local B&M's did that, ive not heard of any of them over here in the UK offering that!

Buy new flavors of e-liquid online in small bottles; like 10 mL. At the average rate, that should only set you back about $6-$10...shipping included. Or buy a sampler pack if the vendor offers one. Once you find a flavor you like, the next order can be bigger and you'll most likely save money overall.

Also take juice reviews on the vendor's website with a grain of salt. Not that they screen or edit them. But usually the review is solicited by an email they send to their customers; sometimes for reward points. Go to third party review sites like JuiceDB where the reviews seem to be more fair and more detailed.

Relax. It's not the end of the world if you go a little crazy trying to find the right combination. If you freak out about it you're going to want a cigarette! :)

Everybody's different, so it's hard to give advice, but this is what worked for me. Once I started vaping, I tried a few bottles of overpriced juice from my local smoke shop. I settled on one that I liked, and guess what? It was the ONLY ONE that bothered my wife with the smell of the vapor. So it was back outside for me.

I went to myfreedomsmokes and bought some unflavored nic, and that is what I vaped for 5 or 6 months. My wife didn't complain, I could vape inside the house, and I was spending $0 on juice for quite a while.

The thing about tobacco flavored juices is that they taste nothing like tobacco. And if you're a smoker, what tobacco? People smoke different brands for a reason. It's kinda like having "food flavored" items on a lunch menu.

But here's the kicker. I smoked unfiltered Camels, and they weren't what they used to be either. I don't know what happened over the years, but I noticed the taste changing and becoming less consistent pack to pack. I tried to buy them from the same store so I knew they'd be fresh, but that did no good.

So, for me, even unflavored nic gave me a more consistent experience. It was easy to switch because, accidentally, the cheapest solution happened to be the best for me. Vaping was BETTER than smoking.

I'll buy a bottle of juice from time to time because, frankly, it's a new and exciting hobby and I am curious to see what people come up with. But for the most part I stick to the unflavored for a daily vape.

Oh yeah, and, like you, fatassred, I have close to 0 vapers in my circle. The one person I know sent me to a vape shop in town that rebrands everything with their own logo, so you can't tell where anything is sourced. Even Kanger and Innokin products are rebranded. So no chance of verifying authenticity at all. If I can't trust them with the hardware, there's no way I would trust them with the stuff I'm gonna inhale. Might as well smoke.
