Newbie Mistake :(

I made the newbie mistake of ordering too high of a nicotine level liquid... Finally got my ego in today with a 30ML bottle of PG "Menthol" 24mg in today from LibertyFlights. But, of course 24mg is a little too strong for me. It sucks because I was looking forward to vaping, but after a little while the dizziness and headache kicked in and I can't vape it but once every 30min. or so which is pretty discouraging for the first day lol.

Thing that sucks is I was doing good for the while I was vaping it and hadn't touched an analog or even wanted one. I still haven't had one, but I can only take a vape like once every 30 min. or so to avoid getting nic overdose lol so I'm trying. Put the bottle up on classifieds though, hopefully someone will trade me for it so I can actually enjoy my vape. Shoulda went with 18mg.

To all the newbies that read this! I smoked over a pack a day, thought I could handle 24mg, but it is definitely too strong and has side effects for me. You can always just vape more if you get a lower nic strength. Don't make my mistake

i done a similar thing when i first started but went with 28mg nic.Something you can do is go to a Wal mart,target pharmacy etc etc and pick up a bottle of glycerin.Make sure it says USP on it and it should be next to the skin ointments and mix a few drops in with you mixture to cut back the Nic level.Here is the bottle i have and around 4-5 bucks for 6oz of it and it is just Vegetable glycerin

You may want to order a few smaller bottles of various nic levels and see what is going to fit your needs.

Hey, thanks a lot for the info. I think i'm going to take a ride to the store now and pick up a bottle. I still haven't touched an analog, and if I can get this stuff vapable even with a little less flavor I'll be happy till new juice comes in.

No problem man as long as it says usp on it you should be good to go.I take a small bottle and mix it up before i put it in a cartomizer or drip with it as you need to shake it up well after adding Vg or you will get a oily taste .But i would try adding 2 drops at first and then you can add more or less depending on how you like it

But also Menthol flavors are Notoriously Strong hitting flavors ,But also the PG/VG mix ,Usually 100 percent PG flavors hit harder than a mixture of PG/Vg .I typically like a 70-30 pg/vg blend.I am unfamiliar with the liberty flights Juice so i am not sure what their mixture is

If you like the flavor, but the nic level is too high, you can order a bottle of 0mg from the supplier of your choice and use that to dilute your juice without losing flavor.

Alright chris, got a bottle of the glycerin USP, so everything looks good. But you said just a few drops into my bottle? It is a 30ML bottle so will a few drops be enough to dilute it enough to make it vapable for me?

Edit: nevermind bro, i refreshed the page and seen you posted twice more. GOod point, a little at a time until i'm happy with it makes sense. I"ll let you know how it comes out, thanks a lot

adding 10 ml of the other liquid you bought, should dilute your 24mg to 18 mg. i was a 2pad smoker (gpc lights) and found 24 mg way too strong. made my head ring and got a pretty good buzz. i also couldnt vape it more then couple puffs every 30 mins.

There is also the added benefit of adding pg/vg to your high octane juice....you'll get more juice for your buck.

i would deffinetaly dilute with vg and pg if you can find it locally it's just allot easier to find vg locally. really wish i had your problem though honestly i can vape 36mg and 18mg with no difference and vaping just as often

That's almost exactly what I did mn-puffer, and now I am good to go and can vape more consistently now. I just bought another juice to try and bought it in 18mg so I think I will be ok with that. I decided to try out the hummingbird nectar from kickbassvapor.

The glycerine worked well also Chris so I'm good to go now, although it seemed to make the throat hit more harsh (nothing I can't handle) but it increased it which I thought it was going to do the opposite. My juice is 100% PG menthol, and adding some drops of the Glycering USP enhanced the throat hit.

I understand where you guys are coming from wishing you could vape less like that, but as a newbie you know, you want to vape the hell out of your new PV and flavors when you first get em haha, and I need to get over this crave for an analog hump. Weird though, I only smoked full flavor menthol analogs and about a pack and a half a day... but still 24mg gave me nic overdose. But, Day 2 today, no analog.

EDIT: Ok, so now the throat hit isn't that bad anymore since it has sat overnight. When I first mixed it (i shaked it up too), it was a killer throat hit. But now that the mixture has sat overnight, it's back to normal.

Here's a question that is plaguing me on strength. If I mix 24mg with two other flavors that are 10mg, what mg do I have? I have found that I can vape no more than 12 or 14mg because I get a physical reaction. So the other day I made a diy with the above formula and after a while I got the same reaction.

Congrats on Day 2 analog free man,Glad it worked out for mixing the vg in.After you vape that bottle dry try you some Premixed liquid in around 70-30 to give you good vapor,throat hit and flavor

I started with 36mg and did the same thing. Now, I vape 12mg because it give's me the ability to vape more without any adverse reaction. I LOVE to vape, so I would rather have to vape DOUBLE the amount to get my nicotine fix rather then having to space out my vaping. But there is ALWAYS someone out there that will buy a liquid if you don't like it. There are liquids that I think are absolutely NASTY, but it never fails there is someone out there that considers it there "Favorite!"

If you are mixing equal parts of the 24mg and 10 mg you probably have around 16mg liquid (Roughly) If you are having a reaction at that level I would order 8mg and go up from there if needed

Depends on the quantities you are mixing at if you want 30 mls of a 18mg you would need to mix 17 mg of the 24 plus 13 of the 10 and you will come up just shy of 18mg total (17.933mg/ml)

24 + 10 = 34 / 2 = 17mg if you do a 50/50 mix.
