Maisie was the last pup left. We met the others, but they haven't been picked up yet. Anyway, both Ellery and Maisie have such cute personalities. Jen (the pups' dad's owner) told us that both of them play hard together, but then sleep for hours. That's what they have been doing since we got them! There was no way we could have taken Ellery and left the little girl there.

I know that you couldn't :)

Salem and Div - We're happy that we got both Ellery and Maisie. Today was a long day though. Maisie discovered the bookshelves! Although we puppy proofed before the trip, we never thought about the bookshelves (there are eight in our living room). The corners of our leather binders with our Masters diplomas are chewed up now, but honestly, I don't care. If the diplomas were important, we should have hung them on walls (no way!) or put them in a file cabinet. Also, I was talking on the phone with my boss and telling her how good Ellery and Maisie are being so far. Right then, Maisie pulled season six of '24' off one of the bookshelves!

So, I spent most of the day and night finding things (mostly plywood) to protect our bookshelves. I'm very tired, and so was Maisie (lol). She spent hours walking around trying to find something to chew on. Maisie and Ellery have chew toys, but I made hubby stop at PetsMart on the way home from work to buy tug of war ropes. Ellery and Maisie had a lot of fun playing with one of the ring ropes tonight.

Off to bed... Can you tell that I already love Ellery and Maisie? :)

LOL, that is funny. I can picture it too. Maisie checking out all the 'hmmmm what is next' kind of look.
Crystal did something like that, but it was my slipper...came home and found out she chewed that to pieces. She didn't do it again though. You tell her no..and she gets that, except the constant want to lick ya...

Ellery and Maisie are so much fun! For the most part, they are very good. They wake up in the morning, eat, play for about an hour, then sleep most of the afternoon. After hubby gets home, they eat, play for an hour or so, sleep for a few hours, then they play again until they are worn out. We put them in the crate around 1:00 am and they sleep until around 5:30 or 6:00 am. Hubby takes them out, puts them back in the crate, and they sleep until around 10:00 am. I'll post some pictures of them tonight or tomorrow. They are so cute. :)
