Elusion???

Hi everyone,

I am new here and to the vaping community all together and I have just bought the elusion e-cig and am now waiting for it to arrive. I was wondering if I could here from people who have the elusion already and what there thoughts are of it, good or bad. Also I was wondering if any other pre-filled carts will fit this as I couldn't find any info when i googled it.

Any comments will be much appreciated thankyou.

The elusion kits look an awful lot like the 510 disposables that others have mentioned on the forum. I am not totally sure from looking at the photos though, so hopefully someone will chime in that has one.

Thanks for the warm welcome and quick response cyberwolf, when I get the elusion kit I can take some closer photos and put links up if that would help. It's just due to high prices on their website that it would be good if there is a cheaper solution to replacing the cartridges. I found a video on how to re-fill the cartridges for it, but due to the cost of the unit and being new to vaping I am a bit worried about doing so when I first get it.

I look forward to hearing from anyone else about their experiences and such to do with the elusion.

Yea I know I'm really just trying to make a healthier change, I am smoking rollies at the moment and go through roughly 1x30g pouch a week so ~$20 p/week. Thats why it would be good to be able to do get cartridges cheaper. But even still I'll be trying to use it instead of smoking 'traditional' cigarettes due to being healthier.
Do you have a elusion juice junky adn if so what are you thoughts on it?
If not, what e-cig do you have and what do you like/dislike about it?

Never heard of that one, I made a mistake on my first one which is a Egar before discovering these wonderful forums.
After reading a lot over the last week I've ordered a few different types to find the one I like the most, all have a great rep on here I just don't know whether I'll prefer the 3.7v, 5v regulated or 6v
Here's the types I now have coming;
Janty Ego (there are clones out there as well like the Tornado)
Saber Touch mod
The bottom fed box mod from rnrmanufacturing.com (the Reo mod is very similar but I prefer the lid design of the rnr as I get high humidity where I live)
I also have a stack of different flavors/strengths coming to find which ones I like. Starting up can be expensive, but once your setup the ongoing cost is negligible compared to smoking, well unless your an obsessive collector like me, I can see myself trying a lot of mods out as well as making some of my own down the track lol.

Janty Ego (there are clones out there as well like the Tornado)

Tornado from Totally Wicked is NOT a clone, but an njoy product made especially for them it is an eGo. Totally Wicked and Janty are the ONLY personally branded ones I know of.

The Riva, hello, and T-rex are clones, and not actual produced by njoy.

I stand corrected lol, there are other clones here in Aus as well. I chose the Janty branded one because I read nothing but good things about there warranty and support, that said I haven't read anything bad about Totally Wicked either.

Cool VPDownunder, I'd like to find out what you think about the ones that you have ordered once you receive them. Also your opinion on different flavours/strength that you have tried.

I am still waiting to hear from anyone with an elusion if they wouldn't mind sharing the info. Also it looks like my elusion should arrive tomorrow.

Hi just letting anyone know who's interested I got my elusion today and am liking it so far, though I haven't tried any other PV to compare it to. Will at some stage have to try and get a 510 which seems to be very popular so I can compare the two.
One thing I didn't notice when purchasing(for some reason I didn't do much research) is that the cartridges have the atomizer so now when I try out refilling them I'm not to worried about ruining it. Got some e-juice on the way so hopefully that won't be too long so I can try it out and save some money as opposed to paying $20 + shipping for 5 cartridges.
So far no analogue cigarettes have been had nut has only been like ~6 hours so I guess we'll see how long it will be till I cave... but hopefully not so far I am impressed by this alternative, and definably look forward to trying different brands to see which I prefer most.

Elusion use the Ruyan RN4081. (Often called the Super-Mini or NJoy NPro)

I've used one for 4 weeks and I can't fault it at all.

The battery lasts a long time.
The cut off is about 5 seconds, but thats all you need. Dragging and TH is very easy.
It has the same quality draw as it was when brand new.

I just wish Elusion would cut the price down a bit, its too overpriced imo, which results in their initial customers going elsewhere.

I also have two KR808D-1 Auto Batteries, both failed in the first two weeks and the draw quality is quite inconsistent But they are considerably cheaper. So its up to you, pay a bit more for quality, or pay less for two lesser quality Batt's.

I have loads of Vapor4life cartomizers (Their WOW juice is amazing in the 4081!), that I would love to use with my 4081 Battery, just gotta find a 4081->KR808 Adapter

I've found it a bit hard to understand your post as I am a bit new to this, sorry. Is it possible to use the cartomizers from Vapor4life with the elusion or are they for KR808?

If they fit I'll have to get some as they have quite a few flavours and A LOT cheaper than elusion! Please post a link if you find a 4081 Battery to "anything". I have been searching for awhile and have come up empty.

I read that a M601 / M602 are supposed to have threads that will work with a 4081. Perhaps a M601 / M602 to KR808 adapter?

Well I've ordered a 510 because they seem to be one of the most popular and so I can make a comparison and I've also ordered some e-juice so I can try and refill the elusion as well this should arrive early this week. It will be good to be able to make a comparison for myself between the two and find out which best suits me. But so far I am extremely happy with the elusion and have only smoked 7 analogs since getting it.

Though I did checkout some of the other e-cigs available and due to mixed review/comments on other e-cigs I was fairly unsure of what to make of them and I just wanted a kit that would be easy to use for a first time vaper, i.e. disposable carts. Also what I had heard of the battery life of the elusion, and the pcc that comes with it, I thought that it might suit me a bit better as I am quite often "on the go". Also I wanted to receive the e-cig promptly so I could begin the change over quickly.

Excuse the late reply, I should have subscribed to this thread.

Anyway the Vapor4life cartomizers have KR808D-1 threading and wont fit the Elusion 4081 battery. However you can get an adapter.

I saw an RN4081 Batt -> 808 Adapter somewhere, however I can't seem to remember where. It was a US site.
Here are some adapters but not sure which one would work:
Vapor Kings - JOYE 510, JOYE EGO, DSE801, RN4072, DSE901, RN4075, RN4062 and KR808D-1 e-Cigarette batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid, accessories and more!

Perhaps ask customer support at ecigz what the RN4081 threading is compatible with (I think the Joye 306 has the same threading, not 100% sure though)

I have had a bit of bad luck with the KR808D-1 Batteries from vapor4life, but there have been other users that have had only one or two batteries fail out of 30. So perhaps just go for the Batteries Vapor4life sell.
I have the DSE901 from E Cigz Ecigs E cigs Australia Electronic cigarette Joye 510 , DSE 905 , 901 Atomizers Batteries Blue Foam Mega Batteries which fit the Vapor4life cartomizers, but you need to drill a small hole through the black adapter that comes with the DSE901 kit.

Vapor4life have some great juices by the way, and their customer service is one in a million. The Cubin Cigar juice is amazing, and their unique "WOW" juice is great, especially the Wowboy flavor. I think the M601 may be compatible but I can't be certain.

If you remember where you saw that adpter, Please post a link. I have searched high and low with no luck.

The Joye 306 has the same thread as the Joye 510. So it will not work with a RN4081 or DSE103
