Wondering if there's a good way to empty a kayfun (aside from vaping the whole thing.) I just filled mine up, and when I tried to vape on it I realized my coil was blocking the airflow (too low.) So I tried to carefully open the thing up so I could pour the juice back into the bottle and fix the coil and of course it went all over my hands and all over the counter. Is there a way to get at the build without a mess? (btw I just got a kayfun v2 and the airflow control is awesome, huge improvement:))

I just loosen the top with fingers over the airholes as if doing a top fill. Once off, pour into the bottle, then disassemble with all parts horizontal to keep residues in the pieces (assuming you will refill with same juice). Then wash the base and center tube to keep wicking from sticking, dry burn coil, rewick, and reassemble making sure not to spill. Works quite well after a little practice with minimal loss.

Here is a trick I learned a few months ago to use when needing to rewick or recoil a Kayfun and continue to use the same flavor juice.
Remove the drip tip and place a double thickness of Saran Wrap over the hole in the top cap that the drip tip goes into.
Insert drip tip into top cap, pushing the Saran Wrap in with it to seal off the top of the Kayfun.
Put a small piece of tape over the air intake hole.
Turn the Kayfun upside down and remove the base (chimney should come off with the base).
Set the Kayfun tank, with juice inside, upside down in small glass or container to hold it up right.
Do your rewicking or recoiling as normal.
Remove Kayfun tank from glass, continue to hold upside down and screw on base assembly(make sure chimney is attached first).
While still holding Kayfun upside down, remove drip tip, Saran Wrap and tape from air intake hole.
While still holding Kayfun upside down, place napkin under top cap and blow with mouth into air intake hole a couple of times.
There will be one or two drops of juice that will come out on the napkin.
Turn Kayfun upright, install drip tip, place on mod and vape away.
This works with no flooding at all and after you do it a time or two it is so easy.
Note: Instead of the Saran Wrap you can use a Hillman yellow plastic 5/16 screw protector(H#881039) that can be found in the bolt section at Lowes. A pack of three is less than a dollar.
