No web,no vape down here at the REAL bottom of the world.

Blimmin Aussies:)

<snicker>

Heh, you can appreciate this one. Ran into a guy from Melbourne in, of all places, a Spanish class in Austin Texas. So next class, wore my All Blacks cap.

(I am such a stinker)

(And, yeah, I have an All Blacks cap. In fact, I have three. And some t-shirts. No, I don't understand everything about the game but I love watching. Especially when they walk all over France. :D)

Texan AB fan,now that's pretty cool.

It's funny how it happened. I had run across bits here and there about the Maori and the haka. Not rugby. And I don't remember what got me to poking around YouTube but I ran across the All Blacks doing their haka and it was so cool. And over time, just goofing around, I got to watching clips from games and it was way, way more interesting than our "football" (which always hit me as beer commercials interrupted by a few seconds of rampant violence). Over time, I got hooked. Fortunately, DirecTV over here carries the games. Though I am always behind since they record at, like, 2 in the morning here. :)

It is good to beat the French. The only teams we really fear are the Aussies(but not at the moment) and those pesky French.

Heh. Pesky. :)

The games that got me really hooked are the ones against the Wallabies. I mean I know which side of the ditch (is that right?) I'm on but those are good games. The Boks too come to think. The old Tri-nations (haven't seen enough of the Pumas to even begin to have an opinion).

Maybe I was born in the wrong country or something? :)

Interest over here is picking up they say. I know the AB Maori are coming over this year. Unfortunately, nowhere near me. <mutter>

(And when Richie snuck in, it was New York and he was trying to hide from people who wanted to talk rugby anyway. :) )

Kits, believe it or not, IMO are cheaper in the long run. I tried to do it on the cheap, at first V2 disposables, then their rechargables and cartos, then an ego-c here, a clearomizer there, trial and error etc. And would have been well advised to just to buy a nice, ego twist starter kit from a good manufacturer like joyetech. The one from MyVaporStore is an excellent example of what I should have started with. Instead, my kids will have to forego college. LOL

The Wallabies on paper should never even get close but somehow they have a knack for breaking our hearts.

The Boks we respect but dont fear. They are just going to try to beat us up and once they get tired,we win.

The French....ahh the French.....we never know which team will show up,the one that's gonna lose by 30 points or the one that's gonna tear us to shreds and make the AB's look like little kid's(usually in a world cup)

Give the Pumas a few years and they will be someone to be reckoned with, they have always had the forwards but the backs lacked the imagination to really attack properly but that will change.

Hope you caught the last NZ/French test, the AB's defended their line for close to 20 phases, turned the ball over then raced 80 meters to score.

That my friend is why we say "Rugby is the game they play in heaven"

Sorry for the hijack everyone, mkbilbo feel free to PM me if you want to talk Rugby and yep "ditch" is correct, and yes you may have been born in the wrong country.:)

Apparently, nobody knows which team will show up. Though it wasn't the winning one in the World Cup eh? Hah!

;)

SSSSHHHHH!!!! It's on the DVR, I haven't got to it yet!

(Been trying to avoid the sport news I'm subscribed to also. :) )

Heh. Dunno. I'm still so new, I'd prob'bly embarrass myself talking to somebody who knows the game. Still have many dumb questions. You may regret this. :D

(Yeah, sorry 'bout the hijack folks. But I'm in frickin' Texas where the religion is fubol and I'm blaspheming talking furin stuff. Say "rugby" around here and they point you to the housewares department.)
