I've had my DSE901 for a few days now and I've found it takes a lot of effort to draw air from it. So much so where after continious use i would get light headed. So I took the simple approach and Made the hole to the atomizer larger. Disconnect the battery, take the cart out, and very slowly and carefully bored the hole out. I made it 30% larger (barely noticable without a magnifier) and that yeilded a significantly easier draw, more vapor, and a slightly smoother hit.
Thuroughly clean before use to remove any filings (it seems boiling is the most recommended method, and an ultrasonic cleaner would be even better)
I don't recommend it if you don't have a steady hand, you could easily slip and drill through a wire or something. Also if you drill the hole too big the pressure switch might not activate. You risk destroying the atomizer all together so do this modification at your own risk, and don't blame me if you short something out and your battery explodes, you inhale metal shavings, or if your kitten scratches you. It's a risk but I just thought I'd share my own experience.

Interesting what you did Super, but I have a feeling your atomizer may have been faulty to begin with. They should not draw hard at all. I just had to replace one for someone who also was having hard time drawing on it. Her's is definately not working right. So although you got yours to work the hard way, lol next time maybe return it and get a new one. :)

I also have a 901, and one thing I did to make it draw easier was to widen the little hole at the end of the mouth piece. (mind you, you would have to do it with all your carts, but it's worth it in my opinion.)

The tip of an Exact-o knife works great, just set the tip of the blade in the hole and gently turn the knife in circles. The plastic tip is soft enough that the blade will scrape the hole bigger, and you can move slow enough to pretty much eliminate worrying about a steady hand. (such as with using a drill.)

To widen the hole on the mouthpiece is nowhere near as hard as having to put any knives near it!!

Step one: Bite gently on the mouthpiece
Step two: Bite harder little by little
Step three: wait for the pop as the plastic piece covering the end of the mouthpiece harmlessly pops out into your mouth
Step 4: Spit it out and careful not to swallow it!

I do this and don't get any liquid in the mouth worth a try for that extra draw!

--EDIT-- this is with the common square mouthpiece if its round like a cigarette the knife trick may be a gooden to try for that

i just tried something similar to a 801 pen style. it's not so easily, basically i tried drilling a new hole on the side of it. i think it helped, i get like 3 times the amount of vapor now. i'm going to try some different techniques. it might require a stronger draw to activate the switch, but covering the hole for a little bit fixes it.

Yeah, I'm going to try this too, but only when my 3 month warranty expires and I have a few spares. I've got a screwdriver with a drill bit holder that should do the trick. It'd be WAY easier to control than an electric drill
