No, it will stay open until a mod closes it if they think it needs closing.

and one question is this only happening on the PMs ?

It just happened again for the first time in this new skin format. At least I got 2+ days of good PMs....

I have now had to start writing all PMs in Microsoft Word and then copying them into the PM box to get them to look proper. I am running a co-op and it has become silly to open a word docu every time.

i'm sorry, ken, this has to be aggravating. have you tried with different browsers? i wonder if sarge could take a look at the pm portion of your account? it doesn't make sense ......................

3 diff browsers. All plugins and extensions off. I have stopped even trying. I keep Word open and go there first then copy and paste everything. The only thing I haven't done yet is switch the skin again, but didn't you say that this one is the least bugs? Oh wait I just looked and its Kirsch 2 again. How did that happen? When I restart did it go back auto?

So I think when I switched to ECF1 I didnt re-pin it to the task bar, so it went back to Kirsch when I closed and re-opened and I didn't notice...

It is working again in ECF1

it's supposed to be default but that's not working properly - best to set the skin in your settings and not just switching at the bottom of the page.
pretty sure it's in settings but my brain is not fully functional - i got the flu

A compromise solution to the 'Enter' difficulty is to compose in Notepad (or other equivalent) and copy and paste into ECF.

An extra 'Enter' is necessary to provide paragraph breaks to appear in the ECF PMs.

Thanks. I've been using Microsoft Word.. It seems to be OK now that I locked ECF1 in. I didn't realize it switched back on its own. I went to settings yesterday and locked it.

Thanks all for the help. I know this is a silly thing but running co-ops and constantly PMing it gets to be aggravating.
