which ones did you end up liking?

Don't want to derail this thread, but the 1 flavor that really wowed me was Pineapple from Zeus e-juice. None of the Mom and Pop juices necessarily wowed me, but they were good enough that I'm going to order a few small bottles for further sampling.

Trying to find really good flavors has become so involved that now I actually have a fairly intensive process which includes trying everything in various different devices(iClears, Protanks, and cartos) now before I declare a flavor good enough to order a large bottle. Lol.

I wish I was more like you! I love love all juices but one, pumpkin spice. My pocket book would be happier if I didn't like so many flavors. It's like heaven to me. Forget about cigs and real food, all I wanna do is try every flavor there is. I keep hearing about boba. Going to have get some of that too. Hope things change for you, it's such a fun flavorable world out there you are missing. I know I'm weird, but I have been vaping eggnog from high desert vapes all day and even my daughter loves it. Good luck.

I went through a lot more them 3 juices just to find a profile I liked

It takes a lot to find the juices I like but that's why they say get small sizes when trying stuff out

also did you give time for steeping
I've been through at least 100 and still looking for one juice that is an ADV. There is a ton of stuff I like, but only a handful of juices I really like.

I also have figured out that some of the stuff I was ordering wasn't that good. I figured out that bakery and dessert flavors don't work, that coffee juices are the hardest to perfect for vendors and that some of these tobacco flavors taste like bean burrito soaked in ashtray.

There are some dessert flavors I like, but I really can't vape them for too long. And yeah, I've yet to find a coffee I love. I've never tried any tabacco liquids because quite frankly I never liked the taste of tobacco. Lol.

What kind of sucks is some liquids I love at first. But vaping for a long time something in it kind of turns me off. Like Helios Gold. One of the most popular flavors at a B&M I went to. I tried it at the store and it was great. Got it home and first vape was amazing. I was estatic like "OMG, this is the best flavor ever!" But halfway through the tank there was just something in it that was turning me off. Can't really do it as an ADV, though I think it's still really great from time to time.

I have a similar problem. I've bought so many samples and small bottles of juices off of recs in this forum and only found a few that I really like. I made a thread last week that I got vapemail which contained 20 samples of juices from high end sites. Well, I've gone through like 16 of them and found 1 that I really like and 3 that I like enough to order a buy and do some further sampling.

By far the better option is to go to a B&M and sample at the juice bar. I've found way more juices that I like that way.

I cannot go to a B&M...there are none by me. That is why it is so difficult. If I had a place to go and check out juices, it would be so much easier, but when you buy online and the juice comes in and you find it to be just horrible...you just do not want to bother any more. For me, it feels like a waste of time to try new juices. It has failed for 2 years now. There must be something wrong with my taste buds or there is something wrong with everyone elses taste buds. lol.

OP - What vendors have you tried? I found that a lot of recommended vendors - to me - are utterly unvapeable. There is one particularly - which is a great vendor for hardware and in general fabulous with shipping and customer service, but I cant comprehend how others dont taste the horrid chemical taste that carries through EVERY flavor they have. I am suspecting this is where your madagascar vanilla is from. That was one of about 10 or so flavors I ordered from this vendor and it was probably the MOST HORRIBLE crap I ever tasted. I'd rather vape dog poo! LOL

What I discovered is that it must be a sensitivity to a taste in one of the bases that not everyone seems to taste. I have found vendors that I do like and DIY supplies that I can make good liquid with. It took ordering little samples all over the place and finally I found 3 I re order from regularly and expand on my flavors with.

I am curious to know if this carries through tons of vendors for you or a few specific ones. If we have similar tastes I can maybe save you some money and direct you to vendors that dont have that "taste" underlying in everything.

Even unflavored from a vendor with an odd base ( I am guessing the nic) would - I assume- still carry that horrid taste.

I have tried plenty of vendors and the results are always the same, but I guess their are new vendors out there... I went over a year with just 2 juices because I was fed up with juices that get all this praise I think they are horrible...It must be my taste buds. lol

There are a lot of places that are really very highly recommended by lots of people on here over and over that I haven't tried yet, so I can't say I've researched exhaustively as far as what I've tried. Those would be:

Alice in Vapeland
(I have some from them but I've been patiently waiting for them to steep-some have been really promising though from testing them in the dripper-they are mainly pretty complex flavors and on the milder side. They are only open for orders on Tuesday nights) https://vapeland.org/

You can also get Alice in Vapeland and many others here: Juices - Giant Vapes

Velvet Cloud Vapors Velvet Cloud Vapor - Organic and Natural All VG E-Liquid from San Francisco

Ahlusion Welcome to Ahlusion

Dripeez https://natural-eliquid.com/store/index.php

The extremely well reviewed Grant's Vanilla Custard Hello and welcome to | Grant's Vanilla Custard Not available very often it seems

Heather's Heavenly Vapes Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids

Here's a juice it seems most people like Kona Coffee Milkshake Organic Kona Coffee Milkshake E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

Halo E-liquid | Electronic Cigarette | E Cig Liquid | Halo Cigs

also subscribe to the coupon thread so you can find out about discounts http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/418767-deals-steals-58.html

If I want to order form someone I always google the company name and the word coupon and I often find at least a 10% discount code to use

I'm not envious of anyone who spends thousands of dollars looking for their Holy Grail of vaping. I knew going in that I didn't like tobacco or smoky tasting anything. I smoked the absolutely mintiest cigars & cigarettes I could find and still got too much smoky & tobacco tastes. That's probably the main reason I prefer vaping over smoking. Other people love that smoky taste and it is probably a major part of their habit/addiction.

I didn't see the attraction of inhaling mocha, french vanilla or orange juice at first either. About 2 weeks after I started vaping and was having a bout of vaper's tongue, I realized that constantly switching from menthol & apple-cinnamon vapes while also alternating drinking strong coffee, cranberry juice, chocolate milk & water (which works to get past vaper's tongue BTW) that it would have been a whole lot easier, cheaper and less frequent trips to the bathroom if I had just had all those flavors to vape and just drank water. And I could have done it all while driving instead of having to stop at every gas station.

Are you sure? Looks like you couldn't fall down without landing in a vape shop in New Jersey. We have a hafl dozen or so in Maryland. NJ must have 3x that.

I do not think so, not where I live.

I have a couple near me and they have horrible juice anyway. I have just decided to take my own advice and place orders from some of the vendors I listed above along with a few newer ones that only just started up a couple of months ago. Up until now I realize that I have mainly just taken advantage of big sales and ordered a lot of stuff from a vendor just because it was a good deal but I have noticed that the really popular vendors don't tend to have sales as much probably because they don't have to because they get business anyway...and now I have to wait so long for most of them to steep before I can really try them out.

If it's been a year since you looked around-there are soooo many new juice makers all the time.

Like someone else mentioned it does make a difference what you use to vape with, I tried a simple bridgeless atomizer for dripping like this: 510 Bridgeless Atomizer - Stainless - 1.8 ohm and it really does improve flavor a lot! If you don't have one I recommend it, it's really good for trying out new flavors also. Here is how to use it: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/the-ocelot/4005-drip-drip-drip-sound-dripping.html

What are you using to vape with? a 1,8ohm coil really does make more flavor.

Are you interested in tobacco flavors, sweet, fruity...?

I find so far that fruits are the easiest to find good renditions of, and also teas if you like the taste of tea

another one that I intend to try is Grizzly vapes, the nannerbear and Kokobear get excellent reviews-they are smooth tobacco's and the guy who makes them only makes those two flavors. It seems like some of the people who only make a couple of flavors just make them really well.

http://www.steammonkey.com/Nannerbear_by_Grizzly_Vapes_p/nanner.htm
"First, a little about Grizzly Vapes. This is not a mix to order juice, it's not flavors in a bottle with nic and PG/VG. This is a crafted juice. It goes through a multistage process when it's crafted which stabilizes the liquid so it has unheard of shelf stability and is "pre-steeped" right out of the bottle. There's no need to let anything from the Grizzly line sit, 'age', 'steep' or whatever the kids are callin it these days.

Now, Nannerbear... the juice that defies explanation. Every review I've seen of it has picked up different notes and they almost universally say the same thing. "This juice is hard to describe". My first hit of this juice raised an eyebrow. I was surprised, I had no idea what i was tasting and I was hit with multiple flavors and notes, even sensations. The second hit raised both eyebrows. The flavor was indescribable and overwhelmingly GOOD.

It's a subtle juice, not one of those "punch you in the tongue" flavors you get, there are no double shots or flavor kicks, or sidecars, etc. It's been crafted to be an all day vape and it has become that for damn near everyone who tries it.

If I had to describe the flavor... It's got some banana and coconut notes but it's not a banana or coconut juice. It's got an earthy rich flavor that underpins the sweetness from the aforementioned tropical fruits and a hint of tobacco. There's a dark, almost herbal tone that rides alone with all the other flavors in this complex juice. Every hit is a little bit different, each subtle flavor taking the stage for just a second on inhale and exhale. The inhale is warm and rich and sweet and the exhale is smooth and has a slight cooling sensation.

This juice is only available in Max VG. It is blended with a very specific technique to achieve the unique flavor profile it has. We now carry it in 3 different nicotine strengths, 6, 12, and 18 and it comes in a LDPE bottle (standard plastic juice bottle)."

http://www.steammonkey.com/KokoBear_by_Grizzly_Vapes_p/kokobear.htm
Kokobear... oh how I love you. This is the second from Grizzly Vapes and it's another beast. Nannerbears darker cousin, this is a chocolate vape if you want to be a peasant about descriptions. It's so much more than that. It takes all of the complexity and delicate flavor blending of Nannerbear and adds in a rich chocolate flavor with notes of vanilla. To me, it's almost like one of those expensive chocolates you can get at a shop in the 'fancy' part of town that has a list of ingredients from various South American countries. It's a little more intense in flavor than Nannerbear but it's still an easy all day vape.
