Your pipes looks good.
About auto switch - it looks like very few vapers use them and the rest use manual switch.

Automatic switch is a by-default feature of these devices. If it works good, there is no real problem. You wouldn't disassemble them if they work, right? $70 bucks ePipe is not a good subject for experiments, if it works perfectly.
But from my experience they work just for a few weeks.

But from my experience they work just for a few weeks.how did you do that on the last two pictures?...i want an e-pipe, but i have heard the des601 kinda sucks, but is easily modded...
Nice pipes, I've never tried and electronic one before, any differences with a good ecig mod besides the look?
