Wow, thats terrible news Bob. Ive been running mine everyday for quite a while and no problems at all. I didnt even realize they were breakable. Seemed so simple that I thought nothing could really go wrong. I feel quite bad now. I sure hope he gets it fixed up in a jiffy and gets it back to you before xmas.

You should come join the group of us over in the official epipemod sponsor thread Bob. Show off some pics when you git it back. You know what else, if you wanted a different pipe perhaps since yours croaked on you so prematurely maybe Matt will take it back from you and you can purchase one from the new batch coming out on Dec 6. Then you wont need to wait for a repair. There are some pics of the new ones in the sponsor thread. Im sure there are others though also. Just a thought.

wow, an invite! really? I'd love to, and will sure get some pics up too. I saw matts latest pics, and the bent egg mahogany(the last pic) is actually what I custom ordered but I was so desperate to get one I ordered the candy apple as matt said it would take 2-3months for a custom. he actually emailed me the day my candy apple arrived, saying my custom order was ready for purchase (I perhaps wasn't clear enough that when I bought the candy apple that I wanted to cancel the custom order), so now I wish I'd waited and just gone with my custom order!! but its not a bad idea, I might ask him if he could just ship the bent egg mahogany instead.....just don't want to p*** off the bigman....!

He is a cool guy. I would guess he would just make the exchange for you so that you could get a pipe back faster. I know the long distance phone call might be expensive but it may be easier to just call him on the phone. He is nice to talk to also and its easier to communicate.

thanks loads dirquist, I think I will probably interupt his busy day Dec 6th to do that. email can be a bit impersonal. nothing to lose I s'pose, and maybe a good pipe for christmas!

I was wonder are you able to make your own juices on any pipes. If so which ones.
