Hello everyone, I've been using a dse601 pipe for the last two weeks but since friday it's not working properly anymore.

I have to draw really hard, the atomizer seems to be clogged or something and I get very little vapor.

I tried blowing it from the battery end and keeping it upside down for all the weekend to drain it, but nothing changed, what else can I do to try and fix it?

I thought of boiling it and then clean it with isopropyl alcohol but I wanted to get your opinion first.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Hi Joz. Nobody has answered your question :( This will bump your post so if anyone knows anything about this they can help.

I remember a few months ago Leaford discussing epipe cleaning with someone. I can't remember where the conversation was but you could do a tag search for epipe and see what you get.

From what I can remember they were saying that there is a way to connect the battery to make it run and burn off the atomiser - like the self cleaning cycle on some ecigs. It might be that you put something metal between the battery and the edge of the bowl of the pipe ... sorry I don't really know.

Hi Joz - If you look at the screw that holds the battery arm in place you'll see a little square metal block right next to it. You need to connect the screw and this block with something made of metal - a tip of a teaspoon will do it - and hold it for around 30 seconds or so. Make sure you don't have a cart in when you do this or you'll get a burning taste.

I've found that if you take the cart out and stand the pipe, atomiser down, on some tissue paper when not in use it prolongs the life a bit.

Well, I had two, the first one is dead, there was nothing I could do to get it to work properly again.

The second one is almost dead also, a friend suggested to let summerged in coke for a week and see if that cleans it it (coke has become famous for cleaning staff like rusty screws).

I have to test this, but I don't see much hope, I would suggest you get the lady pipe since in that model you can just replace the atomizer when it dies.

thanks jozbaldwin :)

i do have the minipipe...works great.

i was just looking for something that is a heavy vapor hitter and the DSE601 looks like it is....sadly if it is not reliable i guess i will not purchase it.

i do have 2 ruyan e-cigars and they works great...just gotta keep drawing for a little bit to heat up the atomizer...once she is hot...works great :)
