Erm... Hello...

So, I'm new here. I've smoked cigarettes 3 times in my life, a cigar twice. nicotine is something I have found very helpful to me because I am one of the most stressed person alive, and those 3 times smoking cigarettes made me feel so relaxed... not stressed at all.

Except for one problem (well, two if you count the health risks of normal cigarettes, but I'm aware that e-cigs haven't been evaluated thoroughly as healthy alternatives, yet): taste. Truth is, I don't actually like the taste of it. Not that it's nasty... it's just... not appealing.

So when someone pointed out to me electronic cigarettes, I looked them up, and noticed a lot of the sellers included different flavors... that was pretty much what got me interested. I don't have to get only tobacco flavor... I can get other flavors (fruits, chocolate, cappuccino, etc).

So I guess my first question is the usual one every noob asks... what should I start with? I'm on a budget, and it's rather tight, so I don't want to spend a lot. Definitely less then $100, preferably less then $50 if possible, but I can save up if needed. What's the best introduction e-cig, I guess?

You have to have 10 or 15 post to edit, don't remember which. Anti spam measure.

I guess the mother hens are asleep so it falls to me. Are you sure you want to start a life long addiction? You won't get much support for starting. I've been addicted for almost 40 years and it s**ks.:p

You have basically walked into an online Alcoholic Anonymous for Nicotine addicts so responses wont always be positive.

I wont speculate about the relative safety of the e-cig compared to prescription drugs for your stress. Thats for you to figure out.

Good luck.:)

I have addictions, so I know. Luckily, none are that unhealthy for me, yet. I have my reasons for wanting nicotine. I can't explain it, but then again, I also doubt I have to.

I'm aware of that. I know where I stand.

Prescription drugs are way too expensive and don't usually help.

thanks. :)

I would say start with a cheap 510 kit. No PCC yet, as you wont be as reliant on it as most of us. Also, invest in some non nic if you'd rather not create an addiction. You can get a few no nic bottles, and one or two nicotine filled ones. That way you can choose when you want to relieve stress, or just get some flavor. I'd say there's no need to jack yourself up on nicotine right from the get-go. I do enjoy the effects of nicotine though, its been proven to keep oneself alert and sharper, and it is GREAT for relieving stress.

As for flavors...Choose whatever you like the most. I was way too excited when i found banana flavor, since I love artificial banana flavoring. Also, RMV tobacco is a mild tobacco with a bit of sweetness. I enjoy that a lot too. RY4 is a popular favorite, its like candy. My mom just calls it cotton candy. There's many types of coffee, mint/menthol, tobacco, fruity flavors, and even red bull.

RVM is rocky montain vapor, which is where I go for my niquid. I feel they have great prices (10ml for $6, lasted me 5 days when I first started (going from a pack a day of cigarettes, and I vaped a lot in the beginning)). I enjoy their flavors, although a few are lacking IMO, like peach and blackberry. Rassberry is good (thats how they spell it...)
I've not heard anything bad about their flavors, but I also wouldn't say its a super popular site. They are also out of stock most of the time with a lot of flavors. But still:

10ml = $6
30ml = $15
50ml = $22 And free shipping on all orders over $14. Plus they're out of the US, and they usually ship to me (nor cal) in about 3-4 days.
