I have always used flanged cartos. I thought they were convenient and gave leverage when swapping cartos. I got myself a new 22 IBT but couldn't find any flanged standard punched so I got the non flanged as I read somewhere here that the fit was so tight they wouldn't slide off. Well, not only did it slide off, I lost half my tank into the well of my vamo and it made a loud 'pop'. I immediately pulled the battery flipped it upside-down to drain and left the room hoping it would all be better when I returned home. Now I'm home and afraid to slap a battery in the thing to see if it works.

What have I done? The well area looks deeper than it was before this happened also. No camera to take a shot at the moment.

Thanks,
Gwendufus

Edit/update:

It works fine.. whew....sticking with the flanged cartos for now.
