All up in your grill..
So if you give a person (over 21) who has never used alcohol an odouls it is unethical?? Corporations dump toxic waste into our environment. When I lived in Jersey I drove passed those exxon stacks pumping black smoke every day. Every single restaurant in the food court of our mall serves unhealthy food. We as humans live in a hostile environment. I think it's time we stop asking permission and seeking approval and decide our own lifestyles.

First of all I want to apologize to the ones I offended bc my OP was intended to simply "feel out this introductory idea' because i am a conscientous person. I was afraid I offended some by deflecting my original post. I am not a troll(far from it) as a few of you feared(just have to many other distracting elements to keep up). Please accept my apologies haters

I am so upset with the FDA stance it makes me puke.

And btw, my girl thinks all this is a crock of shid and totally respects my decision to give up analogs. side note she is yet craving any nic, but loves the taste of her vape;)

Oh well, lets fight for our right to vape:D:D

I don't think you should of done that. My girlfriend got me into vaping to quit smoking and she is happy I made the transition without making it problematic.

She wanted to kind of try it one time, but I wouldn't let her. But then again mine does have nicotine. So the only thing you have done is exposed her to the psychological aspect. Now ask yourself which one has more power: the mind or the body?

Haha I live in New Jersey. Doesn't food courts in every mall serve unhealthy entrees?

tokarev,

I have no intention of getting into a p***ing match with you but if they intended to take away your 1911 Tokarev would you have the same attitude?

Sure - where's the part of the BOR that says that "e-smoking will not be infringed", again?

Bad analogy....REALLY bad analogy.

I have recently introduced vaping to my girlfriend. I actually baught her an e-ciggy. My concern is that she is not a smoker or nicotine user. Now she vapes her 0 nic juice with me all night as we hang out and loves it. Have I turned her potentially into an analog smoker if the FDA bans these little techno smokes of ours?

Your thoughts?

The oral part and the psychological addiction aspect of it would be my concern... hope it all works out

I think your attitude sucks sorry... why would you get her into vaping? Did you ever try to get her into analogs? I know its zero nic but there's so much more to it than the nic... you asked for opinions so take them as they come. I don't think anyone is 'hating'... just concerned. We KNOW the oral and psychological aspects... and so do you. So now that not all agree with you it seems you take on the defense mode... It wasn't a good move, period.

For the record she has no desire to use her e-cig anymore. Not from me me encouraging that, but, because of the essence that i did not challenge her desire to test it out herself.

She is an independent thinker that makes her own decisions.

She just came to the conclusion that it was too much work(same as most most smokers divert too)

I was going to point this out. It took us a long time to get teh oral fixation thing I believe, it was the nicotine and whatever else is in analogs that kept us there. A non smoker with 0 nic? I was sure would get bored long before any kind of fixation could happen.

I think it's a stupid move. I've tried many times to quit smoking and the e-cig is the only thing that worked. That being said, I still feel ......ed for wasting so much money on something that has zero benefits. I think it was a bad move on your part, but since she isn't smoking anything addictive there is plenty of time to quit. I see it as throwing away money. But to each their own.

Vaping definitely let me see how much of my time and money was being wasted on silly analog smoking. Smoking is harmful, but I think the numbers people quote are way over blown. Studies have shown that exercise has a bigger impact on health outcomes than smoking, yet only 20% of the population exercises on a regular basis. Smokers that exercise have been clinically shown to die of diseases later than non-smokers who do not exercise. That's across the board, including lung cancer deaths. Of course those that don't smoke and do exercise have the best outcomes.

There ARE benefits to consuming nicotine. Nicotine is the only natural substance that has been shown to reduce the incidence of neurological disorders such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. It also increases testosterone levels in men, helps with ulcerative colitis, and boosts the growth of new blood vessels. It's also a stimulant, and so is a treatment for hyperactivity/A.D.D. I think that's the reason I started smoking, and now vape. I must chain smoke (now chain vape) to sit still long enough to write (which is my profession).
