after a few months in the DIY ring i've noticed everything with EM will trump any other flavor in the mix. i have a 20ml bottle with 10% EM , 100VG that AP can't even touch at 5% ( AP is stout s**t).i'd really like to use EM for a sweetner but can't imagine drowning out flavor for a tiny bit of sweetness., i dislike stevia,sucrolose fwiw.tips?

For sweeteners, any thing with any form of sugar in it (fructose, sucrose, glucose, dextrose, etc.) should be completely avoided, as it will gunk up you coils really fast and is not so good on your lungs.

I never use EM any more, totally dulls the flavor, IMO. I use Marshmallow when I need something a little sweeter. Also adds a little "moistness"

Not sure what your getting at when comparing EM and AP as far as sweetness goes there 2 totally different things.

AP adds nuttiness to a mix

EM adds thickness and body but it's not really a great sweetener. It tends to mute flavor.

I have been experimenting with many different sweeteners and trying to replicate favorite commercial juices. I always feel I cannot get the sweetness of a particular commercial juice and that there is some secret Bat Ingredient I do not know about that brings out the massive sweetness in some commercial juices that I love. Either that or the juices are just loaded with sweetener. I am trying that angle as well.

i understand the difference...i use AP a lot.... in my own twisted way i was trying to say EM mutes flavor so badly that AP (strong flavor) can't overcome it.... and EM adds very little sweetness....sorry my thoughts don't reach my fingertips/words very well

try using vanillin for sweetness id you wanna avoid sugar stuffs. ofc it will change the flavor but its present in lots of single flavor juices like marshmallow for example.

Have you tried a little saline or MSG?
