Ethyl Maltol isn't absolutely necessary for all recipes. And to clarify, did you mix Ethyl Maltol crystals or liquid to PG? If its the crystals, and I've diluted them, it all depends on the flavor I'm making. (All of these at 10ml )For my tobacco Awesome, I mix .5 ml in with my other flavors. For my Lemon-Lime mix, I mix in .3 ml. For my Strawberry Cream? I don't add any. It just depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

I'm new to posting on this forum any help would be appreciated!! I mixed 1/4 tsp of Ethyl Maltol to 10 ml of PG. My Question is how many drops of this mix should I start out with per ml of juice to get my base starting point.

Thanks for any and all Help!!

Great that you are mixing, or at least trying to.

So you have suspended EM in PG. That is what I use for sweetening mixes.

It has very little flavor on its own, unless you are going for a general sweet effect like Cotton Candy and then it works OK for that. Might try starting at 10% of the EM solution to your unflavored base and see how close that is to Cotton Candy.

Cannot answer the question on how many drops as I do not know how many drops your dripper does with EM solution per ml or your drops per ml for your base. Just a couple of things to keep notes on when you mix.

For Red Bull juice I use 14% EM solution and 86% Red Bull flavor from TPA.

I'd start at 20% total flavor, but I like real strong flavor.
Wow Hoosier,

That is strong!! But maybe that is what I need to try too. I been going by alot of the other post here on the site and using about 20% flavor and my juices do seem real weak!! Thought maybe I was doing something wrong. Well I guess I will pump up the volume....

Thanks for the info
