Anyone else getting tired of seeing constant posts about what to put into (or what not to put into) their attys or juice like a wealthy soccer mom at a Whole Foods?

"ONLY ORGANIC, Rayon isn't good for you! I only use 100% VIP USDA AT&T CICO CERTIFIED VG extracted from the tears of virgin horses!"

What I mean is we come from a place (smoking) where nothing is known about contents and what goes into our bodies. But there seems to be a trend of evangelical vapers who now jump on EVERYTHING if it ain't grass fed and 6x as expensive.

I'm all about your health but please, lets not forget our roots. It's still better than the sticks.

Let me just say it again:

NOTHING SO NEEDS REFORMING AS OTHER PEOPLE'S HABITS.

BTW, thanks for the chuckle :D

I don't think the fact that we smoked precludes us from caring about what materials and liquids we are vaping.

I think most vapers would agree that vaping is much safer than smoking, but why not continue to research and study what it is we are inhaling?

Yes, I smoked, but I cared enough about the health risks to switch to vaping. Now I vape, I continue to be concerned with the health risks and will try to modify my vaping to mitigate those risks.

Now as for the great consumer machine that vaping has become - I agree. For some people having the newest, most expensive equipment means they are a 'better' vaper than you and they will use every opportunity to tell you so.

I personally vape to stop me smoking and could care less about having the newest most expensive equipment.

but what if we only smoked cigs made from super rare hybrid tobaccos handpicked by hipsters and lovingly massaged until dry. rolled with boiled organic cotton filters and only the finest egyptian papyrus paper? Same thing happened with everything else. It gets old when you go to the local B&M and have to wait for the hipsters and trust fund babies having deep discussions about the undertone flavors in their juice. The good old days of marlboros and budweiser have been replaced by preferring madagascar vanilla undertones vs french vanilla undertones in the newest custard flavor of the week and a $15 coffee brewed by virgin unicorns

I personally get a kick out of the "cotton boilers". I alway wondered how they dried out their cigarettes after they boiled them :D

This irritates me. It's like my pet peeve. I didn't fill my cigarettes with liquid or charge them up once a day either.

Ok, I feel better now...

You never plugged your cigarettes in? You missed out. Charge em for two hours, you could sub-ohm the hell out of em. And if you boiled them you could fit two extra mils in em.:D

I wish I could like this post 10,000,000 times!

What I want is the best vape that *I* can afford -- so I have two kayfun-clones! A Sigelei Zmax, a Vamo v2 I got dirt cheap from China, and 3 iTaste vv3s, 2 of which I got for an outstanding price from desertvapes.com, sans charging cable. I want this inexpensive best vape to keep me from either killing myself or bankrupting myself with cigarettes!

We also buy about 75% of everything we purchase at Walmart -- food, clothes, OTC meds, pet food and supplies, some home electronics, even some sheets last week -- and a good bit from the Dollar Tree, too, especially the OTC meds and housecleaning supplies. I'd far rather save money than worry about some stupid label.

This somehow reminded me of a Jimmy Fallon line.... “New Scientist magazine reported that in the future, cars could be powered by hazelnuts. That's encouraging, considering an eight-ounce jar of hazelnuts costs about nine dollars. Yeah, I've got an idea for a car that runs on bald eagle heads and Faberge eggs.”

Complete swingover -

after inhaling a few thousand chemicals with every puff ( including a few down known toxins and carcinogens ), some go overboard all of a sudden with that purity thingie.

Heck, considering what I did to my body over the years, I'm not gonna loose any sleep over a few nanograms of something this or something that.

Them's still MY lungs ...

Amen Equilibrium (great movie) when I think back to what I used to have fun with in my 20's, vapor is hardly a blip on my body's radar.

And I'm not against anyone doing whatever they want to but man the spenders and attackers need to ease up. Not too bad on ECF but there's a huge vaping group on facebook I'm part of and holy hell with they come beat you with the self righteous stick any chance they get. All I can think of is a line from a Carlin stand up "Calm down....... have some dip."

My pet peeve (well...one of them). The "premium e-juice" crowd. When we were smoking, we'd pick a half smoked .... out of the ash tray and light it, if we were out of cigs in the morning. Now we're talking about subtle undertones, boiling cotton, and layers of flavor. Gimme a break!
