It would be treated probably the same as ordering anything illegal overseas. If it gets caught in customs, you lose out. And if you keep it up, you'll bet they will come to your house and arrest you ...

I heard that the Feds sometimes allow packages to go through so that they can charge you with a bigger shipment. (i.e. you order 20 x 30ml bottles of ejuice over a period of a months and then they charge you with 600ml instead of a petty 30ml).

Maybe like an intent to distribute.. even when it's clear it was for personal use.

The only thing that is potentially "bannable" is the juice. The hardware is no different than buyuing a hookah, syringe, or rolling papers. All legal to posess when not in the company of a regulated substance.

So how are they going to regulate the Juice? The only angle they have is the nicotine right? Yet you can purchase nicotine products OTC. Not to mention nicotine is pretty easily extracted from tobacco should it come to that.

My guess is that it will be so-called "regulated" so they can warrant a tax on it. Once they get their slice of the pie, they'll shut up.

is the nicotine the only issue in contention though? they can claim that even 0 nic juices would still lure in young smokers.. and the juices might have adverse health affects too.

Every local gas staion here has a counter display of bowls (pipes) grinders, and papers. NONE of which are FDA approved. Readily for sale at will. With neon colors and Jester clowns that are much more 'kid enticing' than my 901.

The difference is those are not threatening an eleventy bazillion dollar* industry.

Another option that will get you through @2 years is to buy some 36mg nic juice.

Blended with the less expensive unflavored no nic PG or VG and flavoring with lorann eg.

20ml used a week = 1000ml /year

For 2 years:

24mg - 1500ml of nic juice needed
18mg - 1000ml
12mg - 666ml
9mg - 500ml
6mg - 333ml

Chances are they are going to either ban or tax juice depending on who has the stronger lobby (ie. stronger = who has the most cash for contributions).

If they choose to tax... the argument will go somthing like this:

Currently we get x number of dollars tax per pack of cigarettes.
What is the ecigarette equivalent to that in ejuice?
Tax ejuice so we don't lose that revenue and add x% on top of that to further discourage the use of nicotine and to take it out of the spending range of kids.

And even if they tax they made still ban a nicotine above a certain level.

Just guessing of course. But based on watching how gov'ts do these things.

They can't make owning it a crime, only selling it. So if it gets through customs and to your house, its yours. If they ban the ownership of the nic juice, then they would have to make it a restricted substance like pot... that might upset some people on the hill who have baccy lobbyists in their pocket. The only thing I can see them legally doing is banning the sale of it in the USA.

From what I am reading, its not hard to make your own nic juice anyway. I saw that if you take vodka/VG/PG mix, add in a whack of HIGH quality bacca, mulch it in a blender or just let it sit, strain it through a coffee filter.. whalla...nic juice. Then you add the flavor of choice. Not sure what the nic content would be, but just keep cutting it till you don't die.

I personally want to zero out my nic content for life insurance anyways, but love vaping and my wife will leave me if the grand worth of crap in my office doesn't get used. So I will most likely just use snus or whatever if I ever need to get nic, but go with my own homemade juice... vapin some now...blueberry without nic.

If they make e-juice illegal will it make it as hard to get as Pot? All a ban would do is give the dealers another black market commodity to offer.

If I place an order for juice or atty's it takes me 3-7 days to get it. If I wanted THE POT, I could have a bagful in under an hour.

And if that's what it comes to, then so be it. A vaping I will go.

I am not sure you could say that... lol... I bought it all in the span of a month, and it takes a month for the credit card bill to come in and for her to read it...

Lets just say we had a "discussion" the other night. I tried to do the "but look how much I am saving by not smoking" crap.. didn't fly. My only saving grace is that she still smokes analogs and I have enough devices and juice for her to start up any time and be able for both of us to vape our heads off for months.

You mean like handgrenades, C4 and machine guns?? 100 years ago you might be right but then even selling would be ok, so you'd only be half right ;-) It's the gov't as it is now, and they can make owning anything a crime.

Later.... got to go pick up my humvee with that quad 50 mounted on the top.
