I've noticed that too. As a man of science, I was actually thinking about why it happens the other day. My best guess is that you're quite right about the helium thing. The reason your voice is so high pitched when you inhale helium is that it's lighter than air so the speed of sound is faster in helium than it is in air and because of that change sounds sound higher. The vapor produced from an e-cig (and other forms of smoking) is denser than air, notice how vape sinks downwards when you exhale, so the speed of sound is reduced, and your voice is deeper.

I made a similar discovery a few weeks ago, when your lungs are filled with vapor... You cant whistle... Its close to impossible to do...

Yup i maintain a steady whistle but it wouldn't make any sound until the vapor have ran out

I was actually trying to stealth vape so nobody would notice, and my mom asked me something. I tried to reply, and I must've sounded super weird because my whole family looked at me like ... is wrong with your voice. Haha I just kinda coughed into my shirt and talked normal after[emoji23]
