Isn't this the series he stole all the ideas from Robert Jordan? I remember reading a few books years ago and thought, my god he didn't even try to be original. I'm pretty sure it was Goodkind.

Oh, I LOVE Terry Goodkind. I read Wizard's First Rule when it first came out, and I was hooked.

My other favorite series was The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever, Stephen R. Donaldson.
