I've had my bloog kit for a couple weeks now and love it, but the last couple days I've noticed a weird taste when vaping off the pass thru, even on new cartos. I can't begin to explain what the taste is, but it masks the taste of the cart completely on inhale, and makes me want to throw up. it's not a burning taste, it's just . . . disgusting. I can't explain. I switch the carto to a battery and it tastes fine. any ideas of what's going on????

All I can say is that I have to be careful when using BMF cartos on unregulated kr808d-1 bats fresh out of the charger, or most of them will start tasting bad.
I usually take some 3-4 shorter draws at the beginning, and then vape normally from then on.
So I would say a 5V passthrough can definitely do that to a carto, especially if the passthough is connected to a power source capable of delivering more than 1Amp.

It might need to be cleaned. I know with my mint, every carto that goes on my batts tastes like mint. So there might be some old burnt juice that needs to be cleaned.
I would imagine it is not much different then a regular batt. Clean the threads with some tissue and rubbing alcohol. I am not sure if the insides would need to be cleaned. I don't know how that would work.
