Hi,

I had ordered yesterday a 3400mah battery for my eVic form the official joyetech distributor in the UK (joyetech.co.uk), which just arrived. It looks like it's the bare cell/unprotected green panasonic NCR18650B. It measures 64-64mm in lenght.

Weren't these supposed to be protected versions? Anyone else with a similar experience?

Thanks.

It's weird, I have found that the stock 2600mah battery (pink Samsung) lasts longer than the 3400mah (green Panasonic) from Joye.
After a normal day, ill go to bed with ~45% left on the 2600 and ~20% left on the 3400. That's with the correct settings in the battery menu. Huh?
I can only assume there's a problem with the battery life monitoring part of the 1.2 firmware.
Anyone else noticed this?

That distributor is bloody expensive too, wouldn't use them

i have the 3400 mah panasonic (green). i get a two days out of it on my evic vaping at around 8 watts. the evic battery monitor has always been a little supsect to me, especially, when it gets in the lower % (i've already adjusted the battery settings for specific mah of particular battery) and its till not accurate when the battery drains down into the lower percentages. I think its a software issue. but ya, none the less, a little annoying. gl.

I have had phenomenally good life with my green 3400. I got mine in a CoOp here for I think 8 bucks. Generally, I get 2+ days from mine. I vape about 8 mils a day +/- 1 mil. My pink 2600 and my red 2600 do a good day and a half. Maybe you got a bad 3400? Anyone else used these, and what kind of life are you getting from your 3400 folks?

I also get pretty darn good info from my meter thing on my eVic as long as I set it according to the battery I am using.

Gotta say that I expected more out of the 3400 Panny battery. Also reckon the 2600 pink bat lasts a bit longer. I'll test them at charge time for voltage.
