Hello,

I am new to genisis style atty's and was wondering if someone could help me out with getting them to work on my eVic. I have an AGA-T and a Vulcan (DID clone) that work wonderful on my L-Rider Epic Storm. Both are reading 1.4 ohm. How can I build them differently to obtain higher ohm to work on eVic. I am assuming the low resistance is my issue as my 1.8 ohm Kanger T-2 works great on it.

Thanks for any help for this newbie

Jason

Welcome to ECF , and using the same wire , just add another wrap , or two . I'm using a Penelope ( non-genesis ) and a line ( genesis ) on my Evic , and they both work fine . But they are alittle higher in resistance than yours . Good Luck . It get's easier , the more you make . And , not so messy , if it works , it works ( That's what counts )

Ok, I added wraps. I have 7 now. eVic meter is saying 2.2 ohm, yet still will not fire. It's still working wonderfully on Epic Storm. I really like this atty, and want to use it on my eVic. Anyone with any other ideas?

Thanks
Jason

I'm curious as to why it's not working as well. Did you ever figure it out? I just ordered the AGA T2 and hope to get it working on my Evic

Yes! Well, kinda, sometimes...

I am currently using my AGA-T on my eVic. It is a bit finicky, but with my AGA-T coming in at 1.9-2.0ohm, it wasn't working at first, but I vaped it a bit on my Epic Storm them put it back on eVic And it has been working. I really don't know.

On another eVic note... Does anyone know where to get stainless steel tube and cap for it? It would look so much nicer with my stainless genisis atty's

I don't see why it should work on the Epic and not on your eVic. Unless something is wrong with your eVic. Have you tried using any other atty's or carts on your eVic to test it?

Nice neat coils btw.;)

Yes, my Vulcan (DID clone) will not fire on eVic when wrapped under 2.0ohm.

My Nova tank and Kanger T2 are great with all atty's even a 1.8ohm, go figure...

Thanks! I'm a bit .... about having a neat coil.

You either need a lower gauge wire or more warps to make the ohms higher with 32 gauge you need around 6 wraps to get 2 ohms with 36 you need 3 or 4 wraps!!! Good luck and keep vaping

The problems with genesis is the positive pole sometimes not touching. What i normally do is after i lock the genesis on the PV, then gently push the middle nut down to touch the positive pole. If the pole is too tight, loosen the lower nuts upwards to give some clearance.

Feedback if it works. Cheers.

I have checked the connection. When I put the lower ohm atty's on the eVic it will recognize it and read it, just won't fire it up
Thanks!
