eVic charge when connecting to a computer

What I find very annoying is that it wants to upload data/charging when I connect it with an usb cable to a computer. Is it possible without installing MVR that it only charges when connecting

All of my computers are Linux based, so I might get it working with WINE, but I rather see it charge only by default. But I guess this screws up MVR. Anyway does anyone have a trick or a way to circumvent this without using MVR

Not sure I understand your issue. eVic will charge from any USB including a usb wall charger. You don't even need MVR on the computer as long as your drivers are correct.

Well the thing is, I am in front of a computer the entire day. When you hook it up to any computer, that I have tried at least (around 8), it starts charging/uploading immediately. I want it to only charge from a computer by default
