Jersey huh? Nice me too! Just picked up my eVic from Jersey Smoke in Milltown today! LOVE it so far. It's my first real big boy mod. Currently using a Kanger ProTank3 with it (Thanks again, Lucky 7 Vapes! Glad I won that contest!)

Previous to this I've been using Halo's Triton gear. I love my VV Triton. It will continue to be my every day on the go setup but this eVic seems like it will definitely be a pleasure to come home to!

ok so here's some more first experience thoughts now that I got to play with it for a bit... and I will continue to mess with it and use different juices, tanks, atomizers...

I like it, it's convenient for me to be able to charge the battery off the device, it has a crap load of features (although a bunch of useless ones as well... seriously, a calendar?)

With my ProTank 3, and, currently using a 50/50 juice from Killer Juice... I can't say I'm really impressed with the vape.

In my opinion, my Halo VV Triton is much more enjoyable to vape currently. The draw on my Halo is tighter, and, dare I say, produces more/more flavorful vapor than my eVic does with it's current setup. That's really discouraging since the eVic setup was faaaaaar more expensive.

This unit is my introduction to the modding/customization aspect of vaping and I plan on experimenting with all sorts of stuff with it. It could just be the Kanger Pro Tank 3 that really isn't cutting it for me... unfortunately, Halo uses 808D threading and although my Halo tanks do thread onto the eVic, the eVic does not recognize them.

hm... Hope my experience with this gets better otherwise I may end up selling it and just sticking with my Halo gear.

(I'm in no way affiliated with Halo, I promise, just a curious new vaperer that wants to experiment with a bit of everything)

I just got the protank 3 today and it seems to be underperforming compared to the cylo. Its too close but somehow I still feel that cylo produces more vapor & flavor. Im still playing around with different power settings on the evic and so far it hasnt failed me yet. Im loving the 50/50 blend!

went out and bought an iClear 30 tank today to compare to my Protank 3. I will say this, the ProTank 3 did taste a lot better this morning than it did last night. I think the wicks saturating over night helped a lot. However, I was still getting a very metal taste and the flavor of my juices was pretty muted.

First impressions with the iClear... More flavor, more vapor... I think I'm definitely more of a top wick guy.

Also, I ordered a Siam Mod for my eVic because, let's be honest, this unit looks kind of like an automatic toothbrush or a ..um... "personal massager"

I opted for an 18500 tube since the 18650 is a bit too big and I want more mAh capacity than an 18350. Does anyone know if the eVic will still charge 18500 batteries?

Question: why would you blame the eVic for your vape quality. 90% of vape quality is the topper. That eVic has much better voltage regulation than the Halo Triton, which will provide a smoother vape at the coil. However, the rest of it is all topper and juice, heat settings, etc. Look, I'm not a big fan of the eVic, but I did buy four of them, and as far as batteries go, they are definitely in the top five best batteries (in terms of APV voltage regulation) in the world (excluding the Provari, Nivel chip and DNA20/30). There's plenty of data on this fact. My problem was not the chip or the display, or the USB/Micro parts, but the overall build quality. I do expect more in a $100 APV. Please take a look at different toppers first. Once you find a topper you like, then compare the eVic with the Provari, the Semo, the DNA20/30, the REO, and many others. Compared to the average China Mod, the eVic wins hands down in an APV. Good luck!

The eVic's open Ego head design really enables the microscopic air inlets of the KPT yielding a far airier vape. Much more so that the same constricted connection on say a Magneto which I love. Drop a mini on the latter then the eVic and the results are night and day. Not bad just huge. But man that .1 increment VW capability and dynamic VV/VW conversion on-chip cannot be beat in price or efficiency. How I wish Sig's SMOK's and VAMO's had it.

Thanks for that and agreed.

Good luck.

:)
