+1 for the sigelei Zmax over the Vamo for mods in that class.
Yes thankfully Bills Magic Vapor pointed me in the right direction

You beat me! A new ProVari runs $174.95 to $194.95 depending on the color options.
LOLLLL kinda miss it but am quite happy with the gear I now have. The friend I sold the Provari to...his wife tells me "she's" his one and only mistress  ...months and months later and he's still in awe of the quality.

I meant he missed it. I imagine if he eventually gets one, as he said, he will happy to discover the price.

I'm happy with my gear too :) all of it. I'm currently dripping with a tiny box mod. The size it perfect for dripping, since it's easy to hold.

IMHO owning a ProVari has become a bit of a "status symbol" and as such there is a bit of snobbery associated with many of it's users. ProVape would do well to update the ProVari so that it maintains its reputation as a front runner.................. but with a lower price point..

yea......... someday in the distant future when they arent selling several 100 a week they may change something. lol

what amuses me about the price argument is the base provari unit is actually the cheapest mod I own, LOL, i spent more on my poldiac even.

for the VW argument most people who use a provari arent in the hobby aspect of vaping and need the new feature of the week, most want to pick up the device and it just works this time, every time. and many dont have 9 tanks, it is for people who want to just vape, not vape for a hobby. sorry to insult anyone but I think people who change tanks all day need to reevaluate what they got into vaping for.

I own one and while i have what I consider better and dont use it much i still think the provari is one of the top APV's ever for reliability accuracy and longevity. in my case it has become the ultimate reliable backup.
as for the batteries they were used long before APV's and vaping and will be around even if we move on.

many say it is missing many of the newer features, but that could easily be reversed to read if you need those new features the provari isnt your mod, let it lay and move on.

I don't want to be a fanboi, but I dropped my Provari getting into my truck tonight, then backed up over it before I noticed. Then I got out of my truck. picked it up, and vaped it. The only issue, I needed a leatherman to unscrew the bottom as it locked up. I skipped vamo and evic, went straight from Halo's VV Triton to Provari. Was it a good choice? Apparently for me. Is it good for everyone? No, but that is your decision..

You should post your story in the ProVari sub-forum. Pictures would be nice. :)

I've been into vaping for 5 weeks and I have owned the evic and still own my provari. I also have a friend that owns the vamo and it's kind of a no contest. They all vape, it just so happens the provari vapes better. Both of them were at my house last night they vape around 4.2-4.4 volts my provari for most of the time is set at between 3.5-3.7 volts. When the hit the provari they were amazed. They would hit the provari then hit the device. One said I just can't replicate this vape. Why? I figure with their mods while set at their respective voltages aren't really firing at the set voltage. While the provari is accurate. If you set 3.7 volts your vaping at 3.7 volts. The other 2 mods while set at whatever voltage they are set for aren't firing at what it's set for. Just my opinion
