Evic mini issue... Need help quickly please

I absolutely loved my Evic mini... Until last night, I upgraded the firmware and my mod just isn't the same.

I'm getting really weak hits, the juice is tasting burnt, and the temp protection mode kicks in right away. I can't figure out what's going on...

I'm using the exact set up I was using before the update (35w, 470 deg, & .2 nickel coil) it was perfect the flavor was good and I'd get a good amount of vape... Did the update ruin my mod somehow? I've been trying to fix it since yesterday can someone offer a solution

Have you tried to backlevel back to the previous version?

Fire Mod
Install Tank
Use menu to Set Ohms - lock

That's the next thing I'm gonna try. I didn't wanna have to go back but worth it if it will fix the problem lol

It's an option worth trying if nothing else works. I have a mini, but haven't upgraded to the latest yet so not sure what may have changed (beyond the game mode stuff).

I only did the update cause I wanted to add a logo to the screen which is one of the new options but my mini isn't even usable now

Even after all the updates for the mini I never noticed any big difference in vaping between them. You can try downgrading the firmware to your previous version. It really sounds more like a lack of juice on the coil.

Do you have any kanthal or SS coils so you can at least use power mode till you get the TC issue figured out?

I did the update again and it solved the issue.... Thank goodness!!!! Thanks for the all the input everyone
