I'm new to the temp control game, just got my evic mini kit right now I'm running it 30 watt up to 50 watts and temp around 500 degrees sometimes lower. Anyway is it normal that the mod and tank gets pretty warm but very smooth vape.p.s. in titanium mode

Have you done the v3.0 firmware update ?

The tank will get warm, and some of the heat will transfer to the mini.

If you open it up and take the battery out, is the battery warm?

Not knowing how you use it a inferior battery could get warm.

Make sure you use quality brand name batteries from reputable vendors.

Good list on battery tests done by our very own @Mooch can be found here:

After running 520 degrees at 30 watts the tank gets a little warmer than the mod and the battery feels normal, not warm or hot I think you're right about what you said about the heat transferring to the mod but the battery feels fine. My battery is a green Imren max 30A 3.7v 3500 mah
I would be cautious going over 32W with a 10A cdr cell

I gave you links to the firmware update from your other post.
The update will alleviate some of your problem.........................
