I've had mine for about 2months now. Got the kit at a local B&M for $104, in the rough gun-metal that comes in stock. It's real nice - I usually use it with my Protank.. Just got the PT2 today but haven't tried it yet (read my other thread just above this, possibly got a defective PT2). I occasionally use an iclear30 and sometimes even LR 510 dripping-atty, and BOGE cartos if I want something quick and easy or for a new flavor..

I really want to use my old T2's and new eVod with it; but seem to have problems with anything ego-threaded on my eVic, even with a 510-to-eGo adaptor.. I think they don't make good connection. People tell me I need to pull the post down on my clearos, but they were brand new so I always thought my eVic had defective threads. Not too sure though, hah

Just started building MicroCoils for my regular protank though and it vapes better than it ever has, all day, throughout the entire tank. Even if it's hot outside (had problems with this before building my own coils). Can turn my wattage way higher than I could with stock PT-coils also, hehe.. Maybe this is why my juice always turns dark brown/black!

I use my Kanger TS3 tanks on my evic just to mix up a flavor here and their and they go on like a dream I don't use the TS3s as much because my coils are a low ohms and are alittle airy for an all day vape other than that the threading is fine.

Just got my Evic 2600mAh this past Saturday and I'm lovin it. Put it on charge Sat. Already had a 50% charge to it. Charged it to 100%. Today is Tuesday and I am at 54% on battery. Will probably charge it tomorrow. Am using EGO Kanger EVOD 1.7ml with a 1.8ohm coil. Have battery at 7.0 watts. Great Vapor and Taste.

OK, I do not own an eVic yet :p I am just waiting for my Bonus at the end of the month, and then I am going to spoil myself a little.

My question is: On a scale of 1 to 10 - how would you rate the eVic? Is it worth the extra $$ compared to for example the Ego-T 18650 MOD I allready own?

I rate my Evic 10/10 love it and the custom ability and the fact it will always stay current a you can update the firm ware it's by far the most personable mods in its price range.

I'm running a Protank 1, Two Kanger T3S, and an Aga-T2. The Aga is for home use, when I'm on the go, I use the Protank or the T3S.

I use my Protank more often these days, since I'm a bit weary of Tank cracking e juices, but I *think* non of my juices fit that category since I'm not partial to any of those tank cracking flavors (cinnamon, citrus, etc.).

The most versatile, handy, and reliable of them all is the T3S. The Aga-T2 is fun and hits hard, but it's not something I wanna carry with me when I'm out and about...

The Protank 1 is good, but ever since I switched to using T3S coils, there's some slight leakage through the 510 threading... I'm looking into that at the moment, since I rather be using Protank than my T3S simply because it's borosilicate and SS combo and bottom feeder so the tank is essentially sealed (except for that leaking issue I'm dealing with of course :p)

There is a slight difference between the ProTank/EVOD cartomizer heads and those for the T3s. On the EVOD heads there is a flange just below the wicks that is slightly larger than the one on the T3s head. This could be the cause of your leaking problem. I'm not at home right now, otherwise I could take a picture and show you the difference.

it could be fun to play with.
i like it on my bod telescopic though.
don't care much for the original body.

as for the actual vaping, nothing special and nothing bad unless you need higher voltage as the evic only goes up to 5V.
although in tests in only hit something like 4.5-4.6V.
you'll probably not need it to go so high though.
