Flintlock62 I use the ohms law calculator not the chart. There are so many variables. Just one being the availability of different size wire that can handle the higher wattage that is being used in rba's. What will burn filler or pop a coil in a carto , in a rba would make the juice taste amazing. I still dont have my head fully wrapped around it all lol. I also cant really afford expensive mods so Evolvs products are a great way to have a above average PV at an outstanding price. Not to mention I can always change out a bad battery, worn out 510 connector, or my fire button anytime I see fit I dont have to send anything in or worry about a warranty ;)

So tell me, when I get into RBA's, do I use a higher, or lower gauge wire to get higher watts? What is a good gauge for a wire?

I have no idea lol I don't use RBA's the learning curve is way above what i'm willing to mess with. There is tons of posts about different types of wire, gauges of wire, coil counts, airflow, etc, etc............. I can guess that a smaller gauge wire would allow for more current to pass through and also allow for it to take more current without popping? But that is just my best guess....

Actually, larger gauge wire can carry more current. Think of a water hose, a 2" fire hose carries 4 times as much water as a 1" hose.

Here is a quote from "Thrasher" about wire sizing in a thread on here. "The number goes down the thickness goes up and the resistance drops. with 28 you will have to pack several wraps in there to even get close to 2 ohms. i use 4-6 wraps 32 for 1.6-2.0". If you dig around the forum people will tell you why they need more than 11 watts better than I can.:D
