I have a Evic and i pushed on the 510 pin and it didnt go down, it stays where it was. Is it safe to pull it up just a little or will i damage the device

Well, I'm not sure what you are asking.

If it Didn't go down, why the need to Raise?
If it is To far down, i.e. - got depressed and stuck, yes you can raise it slightly.
Do not Twist, just lift gently. There is a wire soldered to the bottom.
