fasttech says the evic is 200 grams heavy, can someone please confirm that? I'm comparing it to my sigelei mini 30, wondering how much heavier it is.
On a sidenote, do you guys use batteries like LGHE2 and 25R with it or should i get a higher amp battery/keep it locked at 55ish W max on TC?
Steam engine says the HE2 should be able to handle 60W down to 3.4V on a 90% efficient mod, but i'd still like to hear what you guys think.

Got my VTC mini today. This thing is even better than I was expecting. So happy I decided to go with this over the IPV D2. The build quality is outstanding, pictures (good as they are) do not do it justice.

Given the size, I was expecting this thing to be relatively light weight, maybe even borderline "cheap/flimsy" feeling, but this thing has some weight to it and feels extremely sturdy and high quality. Had I been able to see this thing and test it out in person before buying it, and the going rate for these was $100 I'd still consider it a good buy. At $44 it's a steal.

Any info about the vct FW updater for mac?!?!

In the video description here:

He says:
UPDATE: Today I got an email with a Mac version of the firmware updater. I'll get it updated and a full review up ASAP!

So the Mac version does exist. I don't know whether it is downloadable somewhere or not though.

Don't think he can. So far there has not been a firmware update for production units, only sample units need the update and it seems at least that an updater is not yet available to production unit owners. They will probably make it available when the first FW update is needed (gives them time to tweak it). In past, Joytech has used a program and App called MyVapors to download updates to their updateable devices but some have tried to use the Evic VTC with it and apparently it might not support it yet.

myVapors Compatiable with eVic surpreme, eVic and eMode myVapors is now compatible with the eVic supreme, eVic and eMode of Joyetech. The software supports language of English and it is really cool, fun and easy to use. It is likely that all e-cigarettes will be developed based on similar software in the future

Link for that software is here MVR Software - Joyetech

Mine should arrive in few days and I can't say if it connects or not yet. At least you can play with this in mean time to keep you from tracking your vape mail every 5 minutes for a little while at least, but you may be wasting your time.

That video gave me the impression that they are using an entirely new software package.

As far as firmware is concerned I haven't found a reason for any kind of upgrade, it's working really well.
Got the IPV D2 yesterday and I'm selling it today, it looks and feels like a toy compared to the VTC.

Dont have the vtc yet but I wouldnt call the d2 a toy! It works well and is well built. Harsh sir!!

Not saying it is a toy my friend, just saying that it physically feels like one in comparison to the VTC.
Buttons, screen, finish and the battery door aren't half as nice compared to the VTC - performance is good though!
Ok. The vtc must be built like a brick sh1th0us3...lol! Must admit, the screen isnt great on the d2 but otherwise its great I think. No probs with the batt door although I know others have. Looking forward to the vtc now!! Also have a koopor on the way...yeah Im out of (temperature) control I know :)

So what are for you the differences in temperature vaping between the mini and d2? I read on another thread that the Ipv doesn't step down in power mode but I didn't see anything discussed about comparing the two in temp mode
