Delivery in temp mode was a lot more consistent on the VTC, it's a different type of temp control much more like the Evolv chipset.
Using the same coil with the same juice I managed to get a consistent vape with the VTC, whereas the ipv kept giving me "no liquid" messages and completely cutting vapor.

I didn't give the ipv a fair crack of the whip in fairness, I decided I would sell almost straight away and I've heard how fragile the finish is.
I'm sure it's perfectly good but I wasn't impressed by the build quality or menu system - I'd rather have another VTC.

You can vape up to 60 watts in regulated mode with a high drain battery, I think theres a mech style mode which lets you vape as high as the battery can handle and maybe then vape at around 70 watts if the battery has a high amp draw

i am using high drain batteries
:)

well not really planning to get on mechs again,
they do bore me and dont have such bells and whistles.

my question is,can i get the same if not a warmer vape on this device?

currently vaping @64.7 watts
0.2 ohms
sleeper dual coils.

thanks,

waiting for mine to arrive

Love the mod itself, hate the damn tank. I gave in yesterday and bought a nickel coil for my Subtank mini and am gonna try that out today. Going from an iStick 30 w + Subtank Mini to this device with the tank that comes in the kit = no go for me. I've not been getting the hits I need out of it. I know it's the tank specifically because I used a Triton tank with the mod in power mode and it worked just great. The tank is super cute (I went with the blue one), but it's no Subtank!

Got the kit today from ecig, even digging the tank using the CLR heads, really good flavor and wicking well at 25 watts, didn't even bother trying the TC coils that came with the tank, digging this setup right now

I meant on the evic mini it has like kanthal watts mode, temp mode and mech or bypass mode i think its called, at least that what i read somewhere heh, So it lets you use it like a mech. I agree though about mechs these days I prefer regulated mods :)

I decided to give the ego one tank another try today. With ctc juice its a no go.... The juice taste burnt after the first hit at any temp. Milk of the puppy and bird brains I have maneged to tweak the ti coil to work really well at 480 degrees 20 watts. I chain vape so these setting are working well for me. I dont know why my favorate flavor ctc I cant get right in this tank.

Not saying it is a toy my friend, just saying that it physically feels like one in comparison to the VTC.
Buttons, screen, finish and the battery door aren't half as nice compared to the VTC - performance is good though!

If you are gonna sell the thing you could at least give us some comparison pics first.... I see these type of posts in every type of forum but no one ever wants to hook up the threads.

I love my little eVic VTC Mini. I bought it as an inexpensive device for use when I'm out and about, and I'm amazed at how well it works. Some of the higher-end mods could take a lesson from the screen and simplicity. Aside from the Mega One tank, I've also been using a Saucecode and a Uwell Crown tank on it, and it's awesome!

so thats what the bypass mode is for :)been fiddling with it since this morning :) (its eveniong already where i am at)

so got mine, really impressed and surprised how small this is

tried to rebuild the one of the coils,

    how do you build it?

i mean ive build rda's before
so this one do i just let the upper leg rest at one part?
do you test fire to see if the glow is even??

    any tutorials?

i do have a dripper to use it for but i am somehow liking the tank,
i wish it was rebuildable thou

I hated the tank included with the VT/VTC too, got a single .5 CLR head yesterday and now I'm really loving this tank.
I rebuilt the CLR using nickel earlier - it's completely changed my view on the mega tank, lots of flavor and reasonable vapor too.

Just ditch the included nickel/titanium heads, they're useless compared to the CLR's.
