Anyone seen or got a pic of the red evic mini. Realworld pic I've seen the ones released from manufacturer but anyone seen in in person. Reason I'm asking is anytime ive ever ordered stuff made in china lanyards mods even clothes anytime they advertise red it always arrives as a pink color.

Don't know about the Red one...but the BEAUTIFUL Cyan one I have looks exactly the same color as the one shown on the product page...

(Besides...it"s such a GREAT mod [I don't do TC] that it would seem foolhardy not to buy one just because the Red may end up appearing Pink. There are at least a 1000 silly-cone covers, wraps, etc. that can give you any color you desire.)

Good news, at least so far with the Smok TreeBox i got after i sent my 2 VTC Minis back...

At 3am this morning i finally got around to wrapping
a nickel coil (the only TC wire i have at the moment)
and testing TC.

Resistance read correctly (unlike the 2 VTC Minis)

Didnt need to use the boost initial resistance setting at all

Resistance stayed set after sleep/power off (unlike the 2 VTC Minis)

Theres also no resistance lock on this, yet it reads the correct resistance
every time you look at it/power it off/sleep it...win

Vaping well at 430f (one reviewer noted during his TC tests that the mod may go be
under displayed temp, i dont like warm/hot vapes anyways, so i may not see it)

All i care about is hitting the button and getting the same consistent vape every time,
and so far thats what im seeing.

OK so I think I've solved my problem,

Bought a UD Bellus and gave it a SS 316L 0.26 dual coil, working superbly in TC,
Took it off and tried my kanger Subtank 0.25 single coil SS 316L to compare flavours and it tasted like awful again! Thought, meh I've got my bellus, put it in and it tasted like s#@t WTF! Any way after multiple rebuilds and wicks I don't know why but I extended to contact screw on the bottom of the tank and holy clouds and flavour vape man it was amazing. Took it off and extended the kanger tank contact pin and bam it was amazing. If you can try to extend the contact pins on your tank and let us know, everything has returned to normal with no ohm changes and it now rocks.
Let us know how you go

I'll give it a try tonight. That would be fantastic if that's all it is.

Its' settings very closely match the xCube but I'm not familiar with this concept. More detail?

I believe the XCube is similar, i know the Xcube Mini is identical in settings, and i think the Koopo Mini

The initial resistance setting lets you adjust the coil resistance in case you feel, or you measure it with
a standalone meter and, the mode reads it differently. Rather than fool around with temp etc, you
can just add or subtract some ohms and use the temp you normally would...

Bunch of other settings too, theres wire type settings and also single or dual coil.

    Very tweakable.

Should point out im also using the same Lemo 2 on this that i used on the VTC Minis,
    and no dramas at all

I had that issue with the Crown once but I screwed the tank down a bit more and it worked fine. I usually screw on my tanks on very gently. That doesn't work with my Crown. Wish it had an adjustable pin. Great post tyzer. Really excellent. A lot of people suspected the 510 connection was the likely culprit for some of the problems. The VTC may have a slightly deeper positive pin than other mods, too deep.

Yeah I think this was the problem with my Subtank Mini. I was getting anemic vape on multiple builds of SS and Titanium (on more than one STM) but after screwing the tank down a little more it stopped doing it. Tomorrow I am going to add a tiny magnet used to make a flat top battery a button top between the RBA and the pin and see if helps. I also screw my tanks down gently, years ago I ruined a Vamo and MVP 2 doing it too much.

I'm also careful about threads because of a Vamo I owned years ago, but it had brass threads with a fixed pin. You should be fine threading down a tank on a stainless steel threaded mod with a spring loaded pin. If threading your Subtank on tight solves your connection problem I'd stick with that and forgo the magnet. It might short the connection or push the pin down to much.

I retired my Subtank after getting the Crown and the eGo One with the VTC kit, so I never even tried it on the VTC. The Crown has a learning curve but it rocks once you get it down. It lives on my VTC. I also actually prefer the eGo One over the Subtank, as long as I use the rebuildable heads. It doesn't get hot as easily, never spits back, it's the easiest thing to rewick, doesn't guzzle juice, and never leaks a drop. The Subtank ever leaked either. I mostly didn't like the occasional spitback or the heat.

these things worked wonderful (on my MVP2) to make all my connection problems go away...

considering getting a VTC mini. any mouth to lung hitters? wondering how it works for you and what coil / settings you find best for MTL.

Tried kanthal in power, Ti and SS in TC. Sometimes it has some quirks, like it works like crazy on a fresh coil on 150 then gradually goes to crap until its fine at 270-280. On the other hand, i've had the same twisted Ti build in it for weeks, works flawlessly. Still trying to figure out what causes this.

On the mtl note, the mod won't affect that much, it doesn't regulate airflow in any way (except for bottom air fed atomizers). The atomizer will. I'm a mtl single coil guy, my main atties atm are veritas with a single twisted vertical and a nectar with a single spaced. If you got more questions feel free to ask :)

Most likely just some refinement happening. All my TC mods do this (VTC mini and 2 DNA40). I need to vape a fresh coil really low for a bit. Then after sleeping it'll refine down as the coil settles/breaks requiring a bump in temp to get same vape. Once it refines down it stays there the rest of the life of coil for me requiring only minor temp changes solely dependent on what I want at that moment in time.

Ok, it's just a language misunderstanding with you using the word "boost"... you're referring to the "ohms adjust". I thought you might be misrepresenting the Min to Max "initial hit" adjust (whatever that's actually called).

As to the models... the Treebox and Kooper 200w have the similar options, with a different look and layout for the rectangular screen, as well as SS and Ti installed vs. the xCube's additional purchase.
But I think the Kooper Mini (75w) predates either and does not.
I haven't been able to verify that though, one way or the other.
If the xCube Mini has them pre-installed, I may grab one of those instead.
I think I'd be too rough on that pretty wooden case. :p
    (Nice presentation box though.)
