try restarting the pc and do it again,
the device was on when you plugged it in right?
ah did not see that,wont run if your on 64 bit i guess??

i did mine at work
took less than a minute to update and a run only program,no need to install..
Try right click on the exe, properties, compatibility, check "Run this program in compatibility for:" and select an earlier version of windows like 8 or 7, give a couple of them a shot. It's a long shot but maybe win10 handles some things differently, it might help.

to make you a thad feel better,nothing much to miss on this update,only the amp usage on screen,
not sure what dynamic resistance means,
but performance doesnt change,well nothing noticable anyways,
worked fine on my win 7 64 bit desktop.. Used a known working data/charge usb cable. I did notice one other difference, besides reading amps. the stock CL Ti coil I got with my kit read .41 ohms prior to the update, now reads .40 ohms.
If you have the time and patience, boot up a virtual machine (idk if 10 has virtual box in it, or use vmware) and start up a win7 installation. Shouldn't take long, and you can give it a go without much hassle. Just delete the machine files when you're done
Usually 32bit programs run ok on 64bit os. I am waiting for a restock to order mine in white.

Why the hell did the price go up so badly on fasttech? Damn it I tried ordering with the coupon codes people posted on here and they didn't seem to work. ........
I just tried it on fasttech with the MAP coupon and it lowers it back to 38$ :S
I just updated mine with Windows 10 x64 with no problems.
The Dynamic resistance apparently means that the device shows real time resistance of your temp control atty, at least it does on mine. My resistance is locked in at .20 ohm with a dual Titanium build, but it shows resistance readings up to .37 as I vape and goes right back to .20 when I release the button.
