What's the static resistance of the heat sink thingy 0.000ohm ?
No Idea I only have devices that read down to the hundreths of an ohm. And they read the same.
I am sure it add a tiny bit of resistance. Doubt if it would cause noticeable issues with TC though.
But I am not certain on that.

Just got a eVic VT mini to tide me over until the VF Stout silver is available. I love the size of the mini and it appears to work well. It does one thing i find a annoying. Anytime i change the battery the screen turns on. It does not matter if i powered it off first.

Is this common? It did it before and after the v3 firmware update.

Every one of my removable batt mods (~8) does that. Normal.

Whether they stay on varies.

There are times when I wish the mod (and screen) would stay off when I put a new battery in, but it's really not something worth getting annoyed about.

Besides, when the screen turns on it displays battery status thus letting you see whether the newly-inserted cell was fully charged or depleted.

I really don't like the way these Kanger STM's fit on here they have a rattle and they move back and forth. First time I have ever had a mod where the atty doesn't fit flush.

Yeah, it's annoying.

There's a black 22m POM 510 washer / spacer on slowtech that solves this. A pack of 10 is pretty cheap. :)

I've got one under the STM right now and it solves the issue.

$7.39 Replacement POM Heat Insulation Gasket for Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Edit: Ah, I see this was already answered. I was way behind on this thread. Just caught up.

And, it looks like KP has them cheaper. Anyway I'll leave this link up in case you need an alternate source.

I just use a Danco rubber washer from Home Depot. 10 pack is less than $1 I think.

I have had my unit for just two days. Here's what I think.
Small but comfy (I wear a size L glove).
Screen is great, bright enough, clear font, plenty of info.
Build quality is what I expected on this price mod. A bit of noise/flexing/popping from the magnetic battery door. For me the battery compartment is backward. The positive and negative terminals are reversed, meaning the floating terminal should have been on the negative end and the flat on the positive end. But it does work.
Had a few times that the vape is anemic no matter the watts or temp. A quick unscrew and rescrew of the tank fixed that.
Battery life is shorter than on my SX Mini M or ML using the same tank and coil. I'm guessing it is for the same amount as I go through about 12 ml a day.

Don't think I dislike this mod, in all, I like this little mod a lot!
May get another in fact.
Nothing wrong w/an honest review- even if it points to things you don't care for. IMO reviews like this do more to help prospective buyers than fanboi 'reviews' that do nothing but rave about the new rainforest treebark mod that does everything better than your mod. ha

I don't care for the feel of the fire button. Hard to describe what I dislike about it other than I'd like it better if it were metal or at least more substantial feeling. IIRC someone posted a source for buttons but I don't recall where it was. Also don't care for the lack of travel of the 510 pin. Seems to rely on a rubber grommet instead of a spring but it was hard to tell for sure. Replacing it w/a Varitube, FD's, etc. isn't gonna be an easy job- of it's even possible at all.

My battery ribbon was twisted so I took it apart to fix this and was pleasantly surprised to see how nicely the soldering was done! Nice, bright shiny unions w/o ANY evidence of cold joints or other no-no's. And not one bit of hot glue. Heat sink w/heat sink compound applied. To think I paid the same for this mod as I did a DNA30 clone a year and a half ago...

I wish I hadn't sent mine back now. I am not real sure about the Cuboid waiting to hear from a couple guys who got theirs. Not much bigger but heavier of course. I would feel really stupid just telling them to send them back and I would've wasted $20. IDK what to do. I am bound to getting what MVS carries so that means either feel stoopid get another RX and a couple Cuboids or get 3 Cuboids. Any ideas. Wish that fix would've been about 4 hours earlier.

What about your SXMini and RX200 do you not like? Is there something other than shinyitis making you look elsewhere?

The only thing that worries me about the Cuboid is the door otherwise I think they are a great idea. I would never use 200w so if that is all the upgrade does I don't think I would even bother but that damned door looks like something that might not last. The guys that have gotten them are being pretty quiet.

Door on mine seems pretty solid. Metal hinged and seems pretty strong. The tab you slide down seems like metal as well with a stout spring. Door clicks shut easily when you push it in and pops open with slight pushing in pressure and sliding the tab down.
