I like it better than sliding the sleeved door off of my ipv4's.

Great thanks for letting me know that. I was almost thinking of sucking it up and tell them to ship my minis back. I know you haven't had much time with it and probably haven't tried it with Ti but thats good to know about the door. Were you the one that had the scuffed display. If it is did you get that worked out.

I use ni200 right now. Jumping to SS as soon as my spool gets here.

Just got mine today and a Goblin Mini. Using it in TCR mode with SS430 28AWG wire.

Works great.

Wow, cheap! I got mine on eBay, and purposely paid a bit more from a seller in NJ (I'm in CT), just because I was impatient and it was closer to me. Well, USPS sent it from New Jersey to WISCONSIN, and then to me. Ugh. LOL

It was a Christmas sale. Also got a second Reuleaux rx200 for $34, a Reuleaux dna 200 for $90, and a bunch of atties for half price. I wasn't supposed to buy anything really so it really put a dent in my wallet (even more so as I also had to order 12 new batteries...)

So it was you that caused the HG2 shortage!

They were already out of HG2s so I had to get Samsung 30Qs :)

And damn, this post made me go past my 2222 post! Not as bad as when I passed post no. 666, but still... :)

Well after I found out about the fix for the Kanger STM's to fit on the VTCmini's once they gave me my credit I decided to get some more minis. I thought about getting one Cuboid but I think that battery door is going to be a weak point in it. They already have a review on their website that the guy said his was loose and didn't close right so it wouldn't sit flat on the table. I think the minis will be just what I wanted. I don't need the extra power and as far as I can tell have the same board and they have a good track record. So now I have some minis coming and also some doohickey from KP to take up the slack for the long pin I was real happy with the way it worked even when the atty rattled. So now I should be real happy and when I go out and misplace it or something I won't be out $200.

At the wattage you use mate, should serve you well

Since I have had the mini most other mod battery changes seem like a chore :w00t:

Hi,

I'm waiting for my VTC mini and I don't know what batteries to use in it... I will start using the aspire triton mini Ni200 0.15ohm coils in my nautilus and can't find anything as to what battery is best for TC (not going to use for standard sub-ohm kanthal) and also what settings should I put for wattage on the device with that coil...(temperature I'll go with 420F to start since that is the burning temperature of cotton, if it matters t all since it is soaked...). I'm more worried with battery amps and that extremely low resistance coil...

The resistance isn't part of the equation with a regulated mod. Any of our top shelf 20A batteries (25R, LG HE4, HG2, Sony VCT5) will be fine.

For the Ni coil, I suppose it should be fine starting lowish, maybe 20-25w, and working your way up depending on how fast you want it to reach set max temp. I haven't used Aspire products, it could easily be a dual coil Ni and handle much higher pre-heat wattages. The mod will throttle the power to maintain temp. The watts is max power used and how quick you get there.

I haven't had any wrap issues with my Sammies, so I got 8 more of them from Illumn a few weeks ago for $5 each.
Never had need of the better VCTs, so I haven't tried the 5 either. Certainly wouldn't for $10 a pop.
Yeah for $10 you can get Efests!

Got my second one for $26 :p
get out? where'd u find em for that amount? NOT with the tank kit, right?? What the heck, cheapest I could find them a week before Xmas was 46 mod only, 50 for the kit! haha. Got the tron kit N love it.

been taking a break from reg mods though.. been enjoying the new SMPL+ and some others. vaporbank ran a really great sale w/ some GREAT mech mods for under 5 bucks... LOVIN it... IDK what the hell it is, but no matter what build I use, direct-from-battery voltage just always seems perfect, thru-out the charge?? Either i'm nuts, or direct-from-batt voltage is just smoother than any reg mod can deliver... ? Anyways, when I'm not vaping mech or the kanger subox mini, the evic has a full tank & I'm lovin it. 0.5 coil at-around 12.5-14w with 12-18mg juice and ya can't go wrong. SOLID build & great design around.

Anyone else enjoying their mechs? Now that the nice quality reg mod's prices have come down, and I was able to receive 2 for X-mas this year, (the mini & subox mini) I feel like I've got enough regs... I'm just more interested in mechs these days, considering they'll last forever & they vape like a charm... From fresh charge to needs-charge, I love my mechs w/a 1ohm coil and some 12-18mg, dammit!
