In the video tutorial about ti wires I can see only micro coils (touching). With ni I know micro coils are not a good thing. Can I use micro coils with titanium?
Yes I believe it develops an oxidation layer like kanthal does. I'm looking forward to some contact coils when mine arrives.

He does a good job of explaining things and is in w the manufacturers of the wire brand although I do not know his position.

The dry coil thing and hitting temp protection. Some devices will warn you that there is no liquid on your wick and stop from firing when it senses that. Your device does not have this function, instead it will become weaker as to let you know when to add more. Your device will show temp protection when your temperature would normally go past what you have set, then it makes adjustments so that you do not, whether it is wet or not. That is also why it gets weaker when your wick dries out. Drier wick means the temp rises faster, which means less power needed to raise the temp = weaker vape/power output. The liquid usually hinders the temp from rising so fast so there is more power needed to accomplish the same temperature. There's many videos explaining tc in general. I hope this helps. If not youtube how does temp control work and they will break it down for you.

Thanks

This was all I think I needed thanks for taking the time

I'm so disappointed, no matter what RTA, RDA I use on this device, it always shows "Protection", I've tried two RDAs and two RTAs on it, with 0.5 to 0.15 ohm (with or without resistance lock in room temperature), all of them don't work. But they work perfectly fine on my rDNA40.....anyone knows how to fix it..? I'm about to throw it away....thanks!

That's what mine says when it reaches the set temperature. I understand that other mods continue to show the temperature instead though. Does it vape?

Have you upgraded your firmware? Maybe tat would fix it? I noticed your watts are awfully low. I'm guess maybe a qc issue? You're sain it does not vape only shows that screen no matter what you do? What coils are you using and how are they built?

No it doesn't :( how did u fix it? or it only happens sometimes?
No if I take a hit in front of the mirror, I see the temperature rising until it reaches the set point. Then it shows temp protection and the watts kick down.. Then it flashes between temp protection and the coil temp until I'm done with the hit.

nickel wire, single coil. The watts are low only when I push the button, I always set it at 40~60
