Well I am using Ni200 and my v1.03 is working pretty darn great so far. Is it only Ti mode that has the issue after waking from sleep? I ask because it hasn't happened to my Ni200 yet..

Well hopefully I can get under the radar of some who want no one to post anything negative about the mod at all.....

If it is working fine in Ni mode, then you have a good one, mine doesn't work well with either Ni or Ti ( works ok with ss in Ti mode though), but I am not that much into TC anyway, so doesn't bother me that much.

It's both TC modes that are affected on mine, although it seems that ti has had more problems working with other people's evics. There are some workarounds to get ti to work in ni and SS can work in ti mode around 200f or so. Glad it's working for you megavap. It started messing up with mine the day after I got if but I had got it late at night and only used it for an hour before I went to bed. It seems like if it works for a solid week then you probably have a good one.

I posted this today over here:
TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I just made my first SS430 coils yesterday, 28gauge on a 7/64 drill bit. 9/10 wraps came out to about 1ohm according to my multimeter and the Cloupor Mini +.

I run the Cloupor in TI mode @ 240F and so far it's doing ok. This is a single coil cotton build on a Brass Kraken Clone. 100% VG, 24mg Nic.

The Mini + seems to keep the Joules at around 12-14 as I puff along, mouth to lung.

Pretty happy the way it worked out, The SS430 is a little springy but that does not bother me.

I actually let the 200ft spool unravel itself a bit and just keep it all in a ziplock bag.

    Very clean stuff, from Unkamen.

Mine has anemic vapes only in Ti mode. Works ok in Ni mode (w/Ti wire) , which is how I use it.

Actually, I would buy another one if I knew who was selling this device in the new hw revision with no Ti problems.

It would be nice to have more reports here from folks who bought recently, *use Ti mode,* and have no problems, along with what vendor they bought it from, and when. This could help prospective buyers who are leary of getting a bad one. I'm not holding my breath for a firmware fix...

I'm tempted to get a D2, but really like the physical build quality of the VTC mini and wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I could increase my odds a bit.

    No you can't
Got mine a last week did over five tanks in Ti mode with no problems working flawless, works great in power mode also. Got it from efun state side . Ordered the device by itself no kit. They got a fresh batch in from China. Shipped with version 1.1

Didn't do the firmware update, think I'll stay away from it for now.

Hello guys, my VTC Mini has a problem ... For some days everything worked fine, then for no apparent reason no longer reads the resistance "0.0" with no atomizer found message. I checked the pin 510, seems ok. I tried to make a short circuit instead of screwing the atom but not detected. Sometimes for no reason while the VTC is still on the table, touch the button and fire resistance is detected again, then after a while again the same problem ... Everything else works perfectly ... I checked the internal weldings but even here it seems allright. Some idea? (sorry for my english, I'm Italian) :)

I'd like to think my problem was that ... unfortunately my Mini not even see the resistance ... I also noticed that in good times (when it works) if I create a short circuit in the pin 510 hear some noises like "clicks, click, click, click ... "I think it is the refresh rate of the resistance value (the circuit passes a voltage and calculate). Instead in bad times (when not working) if I make a short circuit can not hear anything ... Anyone have any idea?

For those who don't care at all about TC, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this mod. It's so beautiful...tiny, yet super-solid feeling, looks great, performs great. It's a real winner. And the menu/user interface is the best I've ever seen on a mod.

For those who care about TC a lot...well, you're taking a bit of a gamble, I think. But there seem to be more working ones than not, so it's probably a good bet. I would buy one from a shop where you have a reasonable chance of returning it for exchange or store credit, just in case.

I got my IPV3 LI the other day, it's awesome :) But I haven't tried TC yet (gotta build a titanium coil).

Thanks - I'm not that lucky. I do like the size/looks, and I heard it is an awesome VW mod, but would be crushed if I got one with defective TC. Plan to use 430SS, so would work for me either way, but still. If anything, looks like eFunTop might be the place to get one (hopefully newer stock), but still wanna wait a little longer to see how it plays out for you guys. :) Not MUCH longer. Getting hard to resist. :p

Hey, I'm one of those 'if it can go wrong it will' people, that's my kind of luck ;)

So I've got one of the faulty units but it doesn't trouble me because I'm now using SS (304) in Ti mode and whilst my temp choices are limited using this wire - it's either 210f or 220f - it performs consistently and utilises TC.

Even if you are one of the unlucky ones you'll probably still be ok if you're using SS

I'm very careful about my vape purchases, I don't have loads of cash to be throwing around and I went for the VTC mini, great build quality, form factor, design, feel, screen, all of it, there's so much they've done right. IMHO it's the best mod out there right now at an incredibly affordable price.

I just wish it would behave itself! :)

I'm getting an Aromamizer RDTA in a couple of hours so we'll see if a different tank with a bit more space can coax it into playing ball.

I registered for the forums but I haven't gotten a verification email yet...as soon as I do, I'll chime in.

EDIT: Had to have them re-send the verification code, but finally got registered and posted. Thanks to @zeus01 for starting the thread.
